Drinkers, lend me your cocktail recipes

So, FI and I went to find specialty vodka at a big monster liquor store today, and we were successful.  Now, what to do with it, besides throw it in coke or do straight (not possible for me).

We bought Death's Door vodka (from Wisconsin, Maaxim recommended it, hence why we bought it) and Rain Organics Honey Mango Melon vodka (drinkable straight-ish).  What shall I mix it with?  I also have:

Captain
Kraken rum
brandy
tequila
TyKu (asian melony liqueur stuff)
triple sec
sweet and sours
grenadine
different berries
pineapple juice
lemon juice
lime juice

I found a recipe for a melon cocktail, using vodka and pureed cantaloupe and honeydew which sounds good.

2oz vodka, 3 small splashes of lime juice, ice, fill with water, enjoy.

Im going to get one of those right about now.

I will also point out you get a worse hangover when you use sugary mix, which is partly why I love vodka & water so much.

Lime juice and a splash of grenadine.

Or whiskey.  Whiskey makes everything better.

I would mix the melon mango with some triple sec and pineapple.  Add a splash of grenadine.

Tyku is gross.  The only thing enjoyable about it is the bottle.

If you have OJ then tequila sunrise is yummy.  Tequila, Oj, grenadine.

Yeah, I wasn't really impressed with it.  FI thought it was cool, so I went along with it being cool so he'd feel better about surprising me with it.

If you want a fun and unusual shot, see if you can find Zwack.

I haven't tried it, but I bet Firefly would be good with Lemonade.

Awesome!  I did some of the melon vodka, pineapple juice, splash of lime and grenadine over ice with water to top off the glass.  Yumtastic, I may start deviating from my standard capt coke.

Well, I've been drinking since 3, so probably not a grea idea.  But I'll save some for ya, maybe!

How'd you fare through the storms?  I was pissed, we got a big workup about it being bad, and then nothing, not even any rain.

We were supposed to get storms all day today and I was so excited, and then it was sunny and clear all day long. wtf.

Oh, we got some tornados in the area, lots of heavy rain and really awesome lightning.  High winds.  Uprooted several trees completely at work.

Damn, I wanted storms.  Probably a good thing we didn't up here though, the one resident is a complete nervous wreck about the possibility of tornadoes.

We have one who is seriously thunderstorm-phobic.  Like, we have to remind her to breathe.

Mine was a nervous wreck since Wed afternoon, when the weather channel said we may get storms that may produce tornadoes.  Seriously terrified of tornadoes, probably would have had to remind her to breathe too if there would have been a storm.  Thank god for drugs.

The honey mango may be good as a mojito too.  I always get my mojitos with vodka instead of rum.

Hmm, mojito, I may have to try that tomorrow, when I can get some mint leaves to muddle.  That's brilliant!

I blended up some melons and strained them to get the juice.  I'm gonna get a sandwich and then throw some of that and vodka in a glass, see how that tastes.
