I've had an epiphany!  I know what I am going to be when I grow up.  I'm going to be a clinical librarian.

What is your undergrad/postgrad in, Night?

Undergrads are History, English and Latin.  Grads are Library Science with a digitization emphasis and Health Informatics.

So, how do you go about obtaining said dream job?

I don't know yet, Sun.  I have to find a hospital (preferably in this town) that will pay me to do it.  Although, my professor said that she knows some people.  I'm hoping she'll hook me up mafia style.

Good lord, you're a smarty pants! That's awesome. I hope you find a way to get a position doing your dream job. How exciting! I've been doing tax for 5 years (OMG) and still don't know what I want to be when I grow up.

So basically, you are saying that doctors don't know all that sympotamic stuff off the top of their head (like on TV) and use someone like what you want to be to "crack the code?"

or they want to look at the best course of treatment, decipher their best option, figure out what's been effective for other people, that kind of thing.  Apparently they call clinical librarians sometimes during surgery.  That's just cool.

Well, the second grad isn't done yet.  That'll happen in May.
