**pirategal**

I just checked out your bio.  I'm glad you decided to go with the brunch thing!  What time is your wedding?

We didn't want to make it unreasonably early because we'll still have to get a bunch of people ready and do some photos.

We're Methodist, the ceremony shouldn't last more than 20 minutes.  And the reception is 2 blocks away.

I'm ready for mimosas and shrimp and grits :)
  • Yeah, I hear you.  Our reception was at noon and the DOC kept trying to talk me out of serving brunch instead of lunch.  But seriously, it was a big hit.

    I can't believe you're less than 2 months out.
  • You're telling me.  I feel like I have a ton to do in 2 months.  Invitations are about to go out, it's actually going to happen.

Some people have commented about brunch over lunch, but most people seem to think it's a good idea.  We're getting a lot of questions about if there will still be dancing.  I wasn't expecting that.
  • I was worried people wouldn't be up for dancing.  I think the people who didn't dance wouldn't have even if it had been an evening wedding.
