It's 80 degrees here and feels like a wet blanket outside, I am working 12 hours today (well, gonna shoot for 10!) and I am dreaming of the weekend! I may or may not even make it back on here today, but I will like hearing how everyone is doing when I can come back.

I got a glass of water this morning in the kitchen and accidentally started running the water when the faucet was overtop the clean dishes and a huge ass spider came running out and I grabbed the first thing I saw - a wooden spoon - and kept bashing at it and having to lift up dishes and it was a frigging nightmare cause it wouldnt die!!!

Other than that, the black strapless dress ibought for the wedding came yesterday and fits and I dont look like a total hog in it. Also? I have a delicious ham and turkey sandwich on 12 grain bread waiting for me for lunch and im pretty excited about that.

Morning ladies! Yesterday was my last day at my full time job until July 2nd when the kdis return. I still have my part time job, but only 2 hours today. I was so exhaused yesterday that I felt drunk (even though I didn't drink anything) and passed out around 9:30. Today I plan on doing a little cleaning and getting a gift for my friend's son because his party is Saturday. They are having a Cold Stone ice cream bar...I am so excited.

I feel you on the hot weather Lenore. I want to go outside for a run SO BAD but it's just too dang hot.  I haven't ran since Sunday

Coming onto TK was so weird this morning.  Seeing that "3" in the countdown is so surreal.  Today is my last day of work as an unmarried lady.  Then tonight we're having dinner with some friends of ours.  Should be a good night! Heading to my hometown tomorrow to start getting stuff ready for the wedding.

Ive been trying to go to bed earlier (10:30 compared to 12:30) and im still freaking exhausted in the morning. Somehow it doesnt seem to help me out much to change my bedtime.

I'm so stressed. Because we're getting married in our hometown and not here, there's a bunch of stuff I can't do until tomorrow when we get there.  But I HATE leaving unfinished tasks on my to do list and just sitting around, so it's making me restless lol.

DJ, yeah I'm at that same place.  On Mondays, I'm still on that same team from before, but the rest of the week I'm on a team that does stuff for the Olympics.  Because of the games coming, they hired a bunch of temps for the summer to help with the extra calls. I like this team so much more.  I'm going to see if this team could be the one I stick with (if I don't get a teaching job for next fall at least).

I was the same way in college. I'm one of those people, though, that strives to get at least 9 hours of sleep (although the past year, I've been okay with 8 or 8 1/2).  I've always been a sleeper.  Apparently I was sleeping through the night withing a week of being born. I hope my kids inherit this.

Morning I'm particularly grumpy today. I found out yesterday that I can't officially just take unpaid time off which I was planning on doing for the HM since I just switched labs and won't have enough time accrued. I'm going to have to fill out a bunch of paperwork and see if H R will let me. This "easy" job switch is turning into a friggin nightmare.

Good morning. I took melatonin last night because FI always talks about how great it is. I fell in about the same time Frame as I would have without it and had awful vivid dreams all night and then over slept. Needless to say, I won't be taking that again.

Morning. The AC in our building is not working and it's so stinking hot in here. This is the worst day for no AC because it's supposed to be something like 95 today.

I got my hair cut last night and opted for bangs. I'm not totally sure how I feel about them; she cut them a bit shorter than I wanted but I'll manage.

I wake up around 5 am and people made fun of me for going to bed by 9. I found myself stressing so much about sleep that I stopped looking at the clock in the evening now and just go to bed whenever.

Wtf is up with people. I just got one facebook comment from an old HS friend congratulating me and then saying she's sad she got an invite.

THEN I got another comment just now from the first people who RSVPd (and had added on their 9-year old daughter even though the invitation was to Mr. and Mrs.) saying it'll just be the mom now as her husband is working and daughter are in CO.

GHEOBHIBOBHIOIOAGHB;AHIBBHIORBAHIOE.  This now brings our tally of "people we're paying for but arne't coming" to six people. Two of them are the only ones with valid excuses.  They sold their house since they RSVPd and were sitll going to try and make it, bt they have to be out the next day (the people who bought it wanted in fast). I don't blame them for not being able to make it.  Most of these people coulda told me last week before my numbers had to be in. This pisses me off so much.

Couldn't sleep last night.  I've been off work since Friday because I took one day of vacation time this week and I only work 3 days per week.  I fell asleep yesterday after FI left for work and I think my body thought I needed to sleep for the day so I didn't wake up until after one and I was NOT tired for bed last night.  I listened to FI snore from 10:30-2:30.

My allergies are driving me nuts!  Anyone else?  I literally have tears running down my cheeks right now because my eyes are watering soo bad.

Its already muggy out.  Not even 8:30 and 73 degrees.  Its supposed to hit 95 today and tomorrow.  I think maybe it might be a pool day.

Is it bad that my cousin is here visiting (From San Francisco) and is staying at her father's an hour north of here and I desperately don't want to go visit her?  Her 3 year old is such a brat that he made the last trip here MISERABLE.  Plus my cousin has said some really nasty mean things about my adorable foster sister who is 4 (because she is jealous of her) and I really just got turned off by it/her.

I have no idea. I'm just preparing for the worst at this point.  On the last da of school, it didn't seem like a lot of people were planning on coming back, so I'm not holding my breath.

Chels-on the day of, you probably won't care that you spent $100 on people that didn't show up. We ended up having people come that didn't RSVP so it all worked out. Good luck with everything!

I'm so freaking tired today. I'm really hoping that I'll be able to get myself in bed early tonight. I'm ready for this week to be over, and for Monday to finally get here! 

Chels, 3 DAYS! How exciting. Don't stress out too much, it'll all work itself out. We had quite a few people that rsvp'd yes and didn't show. Some of them never even mentioned it after the wedding. We did have 3 people crash, so I guess at least they were paid for lol.

Chels, I can't remember how many we ended up paying for that didn't show, but the very first people who RSVPd didn't show, and didn't bother to call and let us know that they weren't coming.  I didn't particularly care for them anyway, they were XH's family members, so I wasn't heartbroken, but it was definitely irritating.

I'm getting my hair cut and colored this afternoon and I still can't decide what I want to do.  I'm really tired of my hair.

I love spiders.  They don't creep me out at all.  We don't kill spiders in my house. 

I'm meeting up with a friend tonight to lay down some actual plans for the baby shower we're hosting in 2 weeks.  I'm excited to see her, and maybe I'll get around to being excited about the shower.

Aww Chels, only a few more days!! Re: paying for people who change their minds.  We had 15 people just not show up.  No call, no email, no text, no mention of it after the wedding.  They just didn't show up at all.  I get it that things come up, really I do, but to not even say anything about it?  15 meals, 30 chairs (ceremony and reception!), two entire tables, etc. worth of people not showing up is a lot of freaking money.  So yeah, there's my WR rant for the day.

Good morning!  I have to leave work early today to meet with my life insurance rep.  It's depressing.  I know it's necessary but still kind of awkward.

Also, you people make me feel like an old woman.  I'm in bed by 9 and asleep by 10 every single night.  Old lady, party of me.
