Every time I read a thread on someones friend posting something ignorant on Face book, it just recomfirms my decision. I tried it for a minute, and quickly canceled.

Most the people I talk to dont have it anyway. So we just use that thing called a phone, hmmmm.... maybe we can start something new.

Morning everyone. I have today off, but I have to go shopping. First to the pharmacy, where I'm going to be super pissed if my doc messed up my prescription yet again. Then to the antique store, my favorite store ever in this horrendous city, to look for my mom's Christmas gift. Then grocery shopping because our pantry is bare. Well, not bare, just not filled with anything I want to eat.

I'm considering dragging H to see The Other Guys, if for nothing else than to see The Rok for a whole 5 minutes in the beginning.

Not really anything in partiular. My mom loves nautical stuff, and this place is full of it. It's a huge store and is impossible to not find at least one amazing thing. So I'm sure I'll find something that catches my eye. They also have a huge display of Native American crafts, but they're too expensive for me.

Antiquing I love it. Where I'm from we have a event at the fairgrounds twice a year I loved going to, but we have nothing like that here. It sucks.

You'd love this place, kd. There is so much stuff it cam be overwhelming, but if you're willing to take time and look through everything, you find some amazing stuff. One of my favorite finds there is a pineapple lamp. Oh, and this awesome wooden bowl set on top of carved-out, curved wooden pegs intertwined with one another. I can't really describe it.

I'm going to try to not buy anything for myself, just family christmas gifts.

HA! good luck with that. I know I would have trouble.

We have a lot of festivals where I'm from too, and we have nothing up here.
My girlfriends and I would take in the Pork festival in Sept, and Sauerkraut in Oct. two of our favs, and there was the Apple Butter, and Pumpkin. With fall coming I'm itching to find something.

today will suck. tomorrow will suck. sunday will suck. and then I'm back to monday, which will be bad all the way through friday. I hate this time of year. Add to that having a come to Jesus meeting with one of my staff members about customer service, and I'm having a hell of a time over here. I wonder if anyone would notice if I keep a flask in my desk.

<div>Look @ Barnes and Noble.com. They have a new program called e-nook (no Nook required) where you can rent online versions of textbooks. It has a highlighting and tabbing feature. I recommend it to all the student I am seeing, especially those that are having an issue paying tuition. </div>

You know, way back when I thought being a supervisor might be fun-but supervising people absolutely sucks. The CTJ meetings are the worst of the worst. Hope work improves!

Thanks, Lenore. It will improve once the students learn how to pay their darn bills before they show up. But I may not live to see that day. Either way, the worst will be over in about a week.
