String Quartet/trio

Hey girls,    I know there was a posting on this a few weeks ago, but I didn't see it. Do yall have any rec? The group from church wants $650 for one hour. This seems excessive, but I don't really know? Thanks in advance.

I used Darek Dowgielewicz for my violinist, but I know he does do quartets and trios. You may contact him for information. He was absolutely outstanding!

My string quartet was $400.  However, they are really just a group of teachers who play.  If I had gone through the church it would have been twice that much.  I know that $650 seems excessive but remember they are professional musicians.  However, I am sure that there are other groups that are a little more reasonable.  Good luck!

Serenata Strings rate for the first hour is $400 Aria Strings is a little more but somewhere around that Forte Strings and Stradivarius are both more than $550...

I'm using Four Strings.  Ceremony only is $450.

Julie's right. $650 divided by four is a little over $160. That includes rehearsing, both individually and as a group, getting dressed, travel, warm up, and the performance. If you can get it for less, go for it, but think about how much it is per person, and it might seem more reasonable.

I am using Aria Strings and they are charging me $360 for an hour - 30 mins of music while guests arive and 30 mins while ceremony and then exit happen.
