Good Saturday evening, ladies.  DH oot on a guys' biking weekend, so I'm on my own.  Workout this am, then took the dog to swim in the reservoir.  Cleaning, laundry, baking some bread, preseason football . . . . not too exciting here.

I cleaned like a mad woman today so I'm a little pooped.  DH and I went to try a new sushi truck for dinner and it was pretty darn good.  Now, I'm being bored out of my mind by the RH of DC.

Hehe, yeah, food trucks are big in Austin and there's even a sushi one.  I was really skeptical, but it was darn good.

I think I would be too scared to eat sushi out of a truck. Ive never eaten sushi ever, but I think a truck would be something I just couldnt do.

That's awesome.. The only time I've eaten out of "Roach Coach" was when I worked for my Grandfather in his warehouse, and the guys would come by.. But they had EVERYTHING. The guy made fresh sandwiches with turkey, and ham, and cheese, and veggies. I was totally amazed..

Les, I'm doing the same thing you're doing. Bach-ing it this weekend, until sometime tomorrow evening. I know he'll be home before 7 (we have a family b-day dinner to attend at 7:30 - yay).

I slept in, then went to the mall and was going to have lunch and pre-buy a ticket for the later showing of Piranha 3D, but the one in 15 minutes was in their XD theatre, that was leather seats, surround sound, bigger screen, etc for $2 more. So, I bought a movie hot dog, popcorn, and coke, and enjoyed the hell out of the movie.

The beginning has Richard Dreyfuss in a fishing boat singing Show Me the Way to Go Home (like in Jaws), wearing a similar outfit he did in that movie, his character's name is Matt (a la Jaws), and when he pulls his beer out of the water, it's Amity Beer (Amity Island). It was awesome. If you like movies like the Final Destination ones with the over the top gore/gruesome and campiness, this is pretty good. But, it IS graphic.

I got some Cold Stone Creamery, then took it to the car and got take out from PF Changs.

Then, since last night and this morning, Max took it upon himself to DESTROY his kennel cushion, I packed him up in the car for a quickie run to PetSmart to get a new one. Now, its dinner time.

And he's getting into anything he can.

I admit to spending the day sleeping.  I partied hard last night.  I haven't consumed that much alcohol in a long time.

Nebb- everytime I chugged down a liter of beer I thought of you.

I then finally woke up to go out to dinner (and more drinking) with my family for my birthday.  I enjoyed the best penne alla vodka ever.

I need to have my hair longer again before the lots of layers thing can work for me. Right now it's too short for it to work (for my taste I mean), a bit past shoulder length, but some of the layers are a bit past my ears. Not working :^|
