Good Morning!

How is everyone this morning?

I just got an email from a university who is supposed to be coming for the wedding in 4 weeks. She is pregnant and she has been suffering from high blood pressure during her pregnancy. She was fine until Thursday, went it, told they have to monitor it more closely, then told that her maternal grandfather had been in a car accident, then told that he died from said accident, then told that she has preeclampsia. I feel so badly for her. She said she will know for sure on Friday if she can come to the wedding but even then, it will still be 3 weeks away, anything could happen. And I don't care if they don't come. I just feel badly that she has to deal with all this right now.

What are you all up to today?  I am going to the gym, then going to watch FI play rugby, then we are off to visit his friends who live like two hours away...I hate driving that far!

Oh wow. When it rains, it pours, huh? That poor girl. Bless her heart.

Today we are taking Ben to Tae Kwan Do. I've got a ton of laundry to do. We also have a date night planned. We will probably go to an afternoon movie and then out to dinner. We have to be back here by 8:00 so that Matt can watch his beloved fooseball.

I'm getting caught up on some work this morning, FI has been at the hospital on call since yesterday morning and gets off in a few hours, then we're going to a sports bar to secure a table so we can get druuunk and watch her beloved Seminoles play lol.

The fair sounds like fun, Mag.  My daughter tried the fried Snickers at the fair last month and said it was delicious.

I'm just going to throw this out there- I HATE SATURDAYS! I have a class now to start early prep for the BAR exam. It runs 1-4 and ruins my day. It makes me annoyed and unhappy. I miss my H. Between work and school and my added work at one of the journals at school... I NEVER SEE HIM. It sucks. Hopefully we can spend some time together tonight. It depends on my work load....

Morning. Wedding is next week, so I have a crapload of things to do. Starting with giving my house a thorough deep clean. I'm hoping to be done with that by lunch time, because I still have to go into work for a few hours, and then have a to-do list as long as my arm.

Morning all! It's more of the same today for me - trying to do what I can to get our apartment in order. This is going very slowly for some reason, probably because I'm still figuring out where everything needs to go. I'm definitely pretty sick of it.

On the plus side, went thrift shopping yesterday and found the perfect desk for my office! Things are looking up!

I have SUCH a headache from last night - plus side, I didnt snack on anything which is a huge first for me. Yes drinking many beers is bad for my diet, but I didnt eat crap as well so thats something, right?

I woke up at 8 this morning, looked at the clock and JUMPED out of bed freaking out because I "slept in", then my husband pointed out it was Saturday and to get back into bed. For a minute I was absolutely terrified though.

I'm doing a bunch of laundry and will be going for a run at some point, then I have to go back to work.  First day back after 9 days of vacation and I'm dreading it.

I had a day off last week, and my eyes FLEW open at 6:41, and I flipped out because I need to leave for work at 6:40.  After a moment of freaking out, I remembered I had the day off...but that is a terrible feeling.

Number, that sucks for your friend.  I hope things start looking up for her.

We went to the farmers market this morning and got some yummy meats from the charcutterie stand.  Now, we're watching Friday Night Lights.  Later, I have an appointment with the eye doctor because I desperately need new glasses and then we're going to a birthday party/movie tonight.  I also need to do some laundry and clean up.

Yeah, it's my first time going but I found a bunch of places with hours on Saturday.

Box kitty has been non stop cuddling since we got home.  When we went to pick her up she had to sniff us both for about 5 minutes to make sure it was really us, but then she was pretty much stuck to us.  I woke up this morning with her draped over my neck with her head tucked up under my chin.  She never sleeps in our bed.  It's pretty much hilarious.

Going to try to write today while H does homework, then hike later if it doesn't rain. I love Saturdays.

J&K, sorry you have to go back today. Hopefully it will be more tolerable having had a nice break from it all! Also FYI, last week someone pitted taco cat against box kitty in the Knottie Deathmatch thread, and they ended up snuggling it out. I thought you should know all is peaceful in the land of knot kitties.
