We just had this fella out here to fix a baseboard and some sheet rock by the patio doors that had some water damage...he takes off a section of sheetrock and that reveals studs totally eaten away by termites! I mean, he was able to tap the outside siding with his pry bar...OMG!
I haven't seen any signs outside or inside, no termite dirt or anyting like that, but still.
Good news is that it's old termite damage and the repairs will run $500.
Suck news is that now we have to have the house inspected, and I will not be in any kind of peace until I know whether or not we have an infestation.
That, and we really don't need this potential expense while trying to pay for the wedding next year!
