So, my cousins wedding was today. The dress was beautiful (and actually made me even more excited to wear it!). I only wenrt to the reception, and actually ended up having a lot of fun. Thank you all for your advice, I feel like a weight has been lifted and I can really focus on my wedding now
Ok, anyways. Has anyone seen a "Dollar Dash" at a wedding? I've seen a lot of dollar dances, and I've always found them tacky and extremely awkward, but this was new to me. Basically the bride and groom run around the room for 2 minutes or so, trying to get more money than the other from the guests. The guests hold out money and the bridal party helps them not to miss anyone's outstretched hand. Then, the money is added up and the DJ announces the "winner". I cringed as soon as the DJ explained it, but all the guests loved it! At least 3/4 of all the guests were holding up money, and everyone was laughing and clapping the entire time.
Now all of my family members are encouraging me to do the same....of course I told them I thought it was a horrible idea. Maybe even worse than the dollar dance?
