whats everyone up to today? the weather in MA is gorgeous so I punted on doing homework for a few hours and ran errands with H. I think we finally found a kitchen table at Bobs.... I just worry because their furniture can get beaten up easily... Our current table only seats 4 and its way too small for us now. We found one that seats 6 and can squeeze in 8 for holidays.....

It's raining here, finally. It's been in the high 80's low 90's for a while, and I'm just ready for fall / winter..

I'm at work, with a headache. And I'm starving. Off in a few hours, and I think I'm heading home for a nap.. Then I might go to the gym. Haven't quite decided on my mood yet..

Me too Roxy.. I have class and work tomorrow, and I'm exhausted.. We're already gearing up for the holidays, and I'm just burned thinking about it..

Working on homework while FI keeps his parents occupied.  I'm a little frustrated that they chose to visit us in October, when things are ridiculously busy between both of our jobs and my school work.  Now I feel guilty that he's driving them around to keep them occupied, while I rush to finish assignments.

I just got back from grocery shopping and realized... we had a MSP GTG this afternoon.  I feel horrible for forgetting, but it's about 30 minutes from me, and now I don't feel like driving out there.  Am I a horrible mod? probably.

sounds like everyone is stressing. I used to love the fall when I was younger.. fall sucks for adults though. Too busy!

I still love fall--it's like this all school year . 

I'm just mad that FILs picked now to visit, when I have school-mandated breaks they could have visited on (they have open vacation time.).  After all, had they come in November when I have a four day weekend for the convention, I would have had plenty of time to visit (and it;s not a holiday, so they could have gotten the days off without issue to their jobs).


 Hrmmph. I'm bitter today.  Especially since i is gorgeous outside and I can't enjoy it.

I am creating the perfect fall day.

There is a chill to the air today.  We winterized the landscaping all morning, I baked a pumpkin pie with my special crust, I just started the cranberry apple cider in the crock-pot, and I'm just getting started on some cheddar potato soup.

The one good thing about this weekend is that FI made Pumpkin Nog and it's sooo good.. Warm tummy from the Shine..

Bad thing about this weekend: My friend, bet FI that he couldn't swallow a Tb. of Cinnamon without something to drink. Friend measured Cinnamon (about 2.5 Tb.) and FI inhaled it while it was in his mouth. Had a really bad asthma attack, and was coughing and throwing up in the shower for 3 hours. Now he has the flu. Joyjoyjoy.

I'm here. I think I'm fighting off a bug. I left work early because I didn't feel well. I came home and took TWO NAPS! I'm feeling  bit better.

Now I'm sitting here watching Modern Family and waiting for FI to finish dinner. Pot roast, mashed potatoes, and Hawaiian rolls!

I spent most of the day shopping with my parents and bought H his Christmas present. I then reboxed it into a paper box (the ones that you buy paper in from Staples), filled the empty space with bubble wrap (he's a present shaker) and wrapped it. Now he has to stare at it for 2 months wondering...

I've been cleaning my house and doing laundry for freaking 5 hours straight. This is insanity. At least it will be nice and clean for awhile.
