Questions!

I am dying at work. This week has been very quiet- it doesn't help that my student is gone all week (I work one on one in the mornings and then teach an entire class in the afternoons) so I've been bumming around for 2-4 hours daily without students!

Anyway, keep me entertained please. I want to know more about you ladies!

1. What is your favorite quote/saying?

2. What is your favorite time of the day?

3. If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?

4. What did you do growing up that got you into trouble?

Re: Questions!

  • 1. What is your favorite quote/saying? What's meant to be will always find a way.

    2. What is your favorite time of the day? Afternoon, when I get off work.  However, I recently started morning workouts and am kind of enjoying my "me" time in the morning...if only the annoying in-shape girl wasn't there everyday...

    3. If you could learn to do anything, what would it be? Play the piano. I wish my parents would've pushed me to learn when I was younger.

    4. What did you do growing up that got you into trouble? Kept my room messy.  We're talking, couldn't see the floor, heaps of clothes messy.  I rarely got in trouble, and if fact, was never grounded, but this would always get me a good yelling at.

  • 1. What is your favorite quote/saying? "Live life without any regrets, for you will never know when it will be the end."

    2. What is your favorite time of the day? 5 o'clock when I am out of work!! :)

    3. If you could learn to do anything, what would it be? I would want to learn another language, draw, take really good photos, and be a better cook.

    4. What did you do growing up that got you into trouble? My parents were pretty strict I hardly ever got into trouble because I knew I would have to face my parents. The only thing i ever done was sneak out of my bedroom window to go out with my friends, but my parents never found out, not even until this day.

    2. What is your favorite time of the day?
my time on my yoga mat. doesn't matter if it is morning, noon, or night, my time on my mat is when i am the happiest and most free.

    3. If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
i have always wanted to learn how to play the guitar!  i am really good on the piano - have played since i was about 2, and i love to sing (although i find my voice to be hideous!)

    4. What did you do growing up that got you into trouble?
hmmm. i was an only child and didn't really get into much trouble....i would throw tantrums when i didn't get what i wanted, though! (this still happens sometimes, so i am not sure anything has changed!)
  • 1. What is your favorite quote/saying?
Once in a while you get shown the light, in the strangest of places if you look at it right. - Grateful Dead (No, I am not a hippie or a stoner; I just love music.)

    2. What is your favorite time of the day?
Early morning when it's quiet, with a cup of coffee.

    3. If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
I would love to be a fantastic cook.

    4. What did you do growing up that got you into trouble?
I borrowed my mom's really nice car (with her permission) when I was in high school and picked up a whole bunch of friends. They had liquor (I wasn't drinking; I was DD) and it spilled ALLLLLLLLLL over the trunk of the car. I came home that night, tried to Febreeze it, but obviously then it just smelled like Febreeze-y rum. I went to bed knowing I'd be in trouble. My mom woke me up the next morning by screaming at me "WHY DOES MY CAR SMELL LIKE BOOZE!?" I will never forget that. And I will never forget scrubbing the trunk with carpet cleaner, which obviously didn't work very well.

Yeah, I was grounded for like 3 months.

  • Good call, things are quiet her as well. But those questions are tough!

    1. What is your favorite quote/saying?

See, I don't have any of those! But I did some research on 'Whereof one cannot speak, thereof one must be silent', a statement by the philosopher Wittgenstein, so I guess I'll go with that one.

    2. What is your favorite time of the day?

When I wake up next to FI or when I crawl into bed next to him. Call me a creep.

    3. If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?

Telekinesis. I'd love to be able to move stuff with my thoughts. Wouldn't that be cool?

    4. What did you do growing up that got you into trouble?

I was a very good girl. Way to good. But I never cleaned up my room either.

    1. What is your favorite quote/saying? Be the person your dog thinks you are.

Today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday (this was in a frame in my grandparents' house and I've always liked it).

    2. What is your favorite time of the day? When I get to go home! I ususally like early afternoons- so bright outside and I still feel like I have a lot of time before it's time for bed :)

    3. If you could learn to do anything, what would it be? I wish I kept up with my speech lessons. It'd make my life easier if I was able to talk!

    4. What did you do growing up that got you into trouble? Sneaking around, telling my parents that I'm at this friend's house while I'm actually out with my boyfriend. They've found out a few times. Other than that I think I was a pretty good kid!

  • 1. What is your favorite quote/saying? Let it be

    2. What is your favorite time of the day? It's hard to pick one... I do like when I'm awake by myself in the morning enjoying a cup of coffee, I also like late afternoons, and any time I'm working out.  These are the times I feel the most relaxed.

    3. If you could learn to do anything, what would it be? I have always wanted to learn how to play the piano. It's on my bucket list!

    4. What did you do growing up that got you into trouble? I was a good kid for the most part, but my sister and I used to get in trouble for fighting. When I was about fifteen I had a smart mouth so I used to get in trouble for that.  My parents weren't really the grouding type though.

"The cure for anything is salt water- sweat, tears or the sea"

  • 1. What is your favorite quote/saying? Top 3 Quotes:

"I will gather myself around my faith for light does the darkness most fear"

"Imperfection is beauty. Madness is genious. And it is better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring"

"Do what you feel in your heart to be right, for you will be criticized anyway. You'll be damned if you do + damned if you dont"

    2. What is your favorite time of the day? Night time.

    3. If you could learn to do anything, what would it be? Speak Italian.

    4. What did you do growing up that got you into trouble? I actually never really got into any trouble. I think my parents were too focused on the bad things my older brother and sister were doing lol
"Judging a person does not define who they are. It defines who you are."
  • 1. What is your favorite quote/saying?

"Don't sweat the petty things and don't pet the sweaty things" - George Carlin

    2. What is your favorite time of the day?

I love the quiet stillness of late nights when the rest of the world is fast asleep... especially during a cool summer night.

    3. If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?

I've always wanted to play the violin.  I ended up with the clarinet, trumpet, and saxophone in middle and high school, but for some reason my parents wouldn't let me play the violin!  I used to be able to read music very well but I kind of lost it at this point.  :(

    4. What did you do growing up that got you into trouble?

What DIDN'T I do??  My older brother was the angel and I was the little devil of the family.  I was a smartass and still am to this day.

The most I ever got into trouble was because I fell asleep at a guy's house I was dating (told my mom I went to a party with a girlfriend... who dropped me off).  This was before cell phone days (I think I had a pager!).  I woke up the next morning knowing I was so dead... and when I got home my mom was out searching for me and my dad had the most disappointed look on his face.  Worst morning ever.  Needless to say I was grounded for months.

I was a pretty wild teenager, but I think I got away with it because I always kept good grades.

  • 1. What is your favorite quote/saying?

“...my love for Heathcliff resembles the eternal rocks beneath - a source of little visible delight, but necessary. Nelly, I am Heathcliff - he's always, always in my mind - not as a pleasure, any more then I am always a pleasure to myself - but, as my own being...” - From my All time favorite book - Wuthering Heights

    2. What is your favorite time of the day?

Depends on the day of the week. Monday through Friday - I like about 7:00pm - because both FI and I are at home most nights. On weekends - I love early afternoon because I still feel like I have so much day left.

    3. If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
At this point - Spanish. It would help so much with my nursing career - and the personal relationships in my home.

    4. What did you do growing up that got you into trouble?
Not much - I was an only child - so I got away with some things because I'd reason with my mom as to why what I did was okay - and she couldn't argue against my logic. I think the worst thing I ever did was hit my mom in the head with a full un-opened can of coke. My mom is an alcoholic - and she was drunk - and I just became enraged..and Pop. I hate the fact that I ever did that.

I also met my ex-bf on the internet..and he flew to Ohio - and I was 16 and didn't tell my mom I met him online..and then spent a week at a hotel with him - saying I was staying with a friend -_- aye.
