i've probably been told this already but where can you find free books? and any other kindle secrets you'd like to share are more than welcome! So excited!!! =D

ereaderiq.com lists the free books that come up (a lot of self-published stuff, so it isn't always the greatest....but free!)

there is the "free book" section on amazon as well as the list of "top 100 free books" on the right hand side of the "e-books" page on amazon. I usually check there everyday to see if something new pops up.

Yay!! Happy for you.
I was SO excited when FI got me one for Christmas. There is actually a subscription on Amazon for the Kindle (maybe .99 a month?) that gives you monthly tips on how to find free books for it.
I love mine. I need to join goodreads.

Yay! I love my kindle. I got one for Christmas. I usually just look at the list of top 100 free books on Amazon. If you search free books, be warned that a lot of them are erotica.

Remember to turn off the wi-fi when you aren't browsing the Amazon store. It makes your battery last a lot longer.

I'm on the fence about a Kindle. With the way I treat my books I feel like I would try and fold the corner of it down or take out a sharpie to mark something. 

But my friend pulls hers out in church on Sunday mornings to follow along with the pastor and I get jealous. So to stop being jealous I should get one. This makes sense to me.

Yes! I love seeing some of the titles, though! Hilarious. There is also a ton of Christian fiction that pops up for free. It's not my thing, so I always have to read the description carefully. It may sound interesting until Jesus swoops in to save the day.

I was anti-Kindle for a while, too. But now that I have it I've come over to the dark side! The last book I read was an actual book and I feel like I cheated on my Kindle ;)

They do have a book swap thing, but I haven't tried it. They have giveaways where you can win books, and if you see a book on a friends shelf, they can always send it to you, if they want..
