FI and I are going up there for our anniversary.  We're thinking about maybe trying to see a comedy show.  Any good comedy clubs or places that do comedy shows in the area?

I've been to The Joke Joint in Saint Paul and that was cool.  Plus their pizza is pretty good.

I was there maybe a year ago and it passed my "clean" test.  The bathrooms were not biohazard pits like some bars/clubs

The only comedy club I have been to is Rick Bronson's House of Comedy in the Mall of America. I thought it was pretty fun/nice.

pssst. I work for the U, so I have to recommend them.  We just toured it this week (snow and all) and it's awesome.  Seriously awesome.  If you can find someone with a U of M Student ID, the whole car gets in free, too!  Otherwise, Tuesdays (Thursdays?) are cheap/free in the winter too.

My SIL works for the U too. Though I can't remember what dept. Though I am sure the U has 1,000 employees so yeah.

I love the arboretum. I had no idea it was still nice in the winter.  We did our e-pics there.

I have never been there, but I have always wanted to go. It sounds amazing. Have you been to Chino Latino in Uptown? It's by far my favorite restaurant around here.

I totally need to go to a comedy club sometime, I've never been to one.  Nor have we tried Melting Pot.  We've been trying to get to Seven for sushi, but never get around to it.

Sarah, Fische is in town, so I think some of us are getting together to watch the game/drink.  You can therefore come in guns blazing still.

1. The U actually has something like 30,000 employees. Unless she works for Aux Services, I probably don't know your SIL.

2. YES to Wisconsin Dells. My dad has a condo there, so I feel like I've never actually outgrown water parks

3. Mocha... I don't really know either of you that well, but, um, feel free to invite me! Who else is going?

4. I don't like Chino Latino. Feel free to flame.  I do, however, have tons of other recommendations depending on what you're craving!
