<div>OMG I totally want to do the same thing!!!  So funny, when H and I watched that movie and the superhero party part came on, we both looked at each other and instantly said, "We NEED to do this!"  That's awesome, I'm jealous.  Have fun!</div>

• I never watched much TV either lls until H.  xH loved to watch reality shows, wrestling, and Sopranos.  I love to read, period!  H watches mostly sports but there are a couple of shows that we both like and DVR to watch together:

Chicago Fire
L&O SVU
Criminal Minds

Shows I watch on my own are Doc Martin, Private Practice (going bye-bye), and mystery shows.

In Response to Re:Only one more day!:
Apple and Swag! I've seen you post about your FI being gone regularly and I have to say, you seem really good about it. I get so annoyed with people when they flip out about a few weeks. FI and I were long distance for all four years I was in college and he still lives an hour away, so it's normal to us. I have zero sympathy for people who cry over two days apart. Maybe I'm just heartless this morning haha Posted by misssunshine17
• morning (I'm always late here because of the West coast time difference).

buzz - so sorry you didn't get the position. I'm sure the experience was good and I hope it helps for the next position(s) you interview for.

swag - I love Revenge, not sure if you watch it or not?

marrin - glad you like the idea, it's super helpful. I noticed when I eat healthier/more often, I am really hungry more often, so I always try to keep stuff with me to help.

edie - do you think they'll keep you on longer if this other guy doesn't work out? I know you're having a goodbye lunch at all, but just curious if it's something they woul do?

misssunshine - I totally agree with you. FI worked in AK 3 weeks on and then came home for 3 weeks in the beginning of our relationship. And, he worked nights to boot, so we hardly got to talk. That job paid amazingly well, even for commuting between there and Seattle. He wasn't able to get time off and missed lots of holidays/family functions, it was life though.

• H and I are catching up on Breaking Bad right now... we're OBSESSED with it. We are in the middle of season 4. I can't watch without him, though. We also watch Game of Thrones whenever we can steal someone's sign-on for HBO Go.
I tried to watch 5 episodes of Mad Men, and besides being very pretty, it didn't do much for me.
I am really growing out of reality shows, and the only one I still hang onto is Teen Mom, and just barely. It's so staged to me, now.

I may actually try to watch Downton Abbey. I know he has no interest, and we get it on Netflix.
THANKS.

• I don't watch Teen Mom, but apparently one of the girls lives not far from me.  My sister said she waited on her once at the Gap (she had no idea who she was until after she left the store though).

I can't get into much reality tv. Most people on them just seem like train wrecks. My apologies to anyone this offends. I guess that's partially why I like the reality competition shows that I watch - because they're really good at what they do and can be inspiring. There's a little drama thrown into to keep the producers happy, but it's not too much. Though I have no interest in the dancing/singing/performing ones.

ETA: Ok, I admit I begrudgingly watched every season Jersey Shore. But all NJ based "reality" tv shows give the most distorted, unreal view of what most people in NJ are like.

• Sorry Buzz! I'm a huge fatalist, and think that these things happen for a reason. There's clearly something better waiting for you - you just have to find it!

I'm sooooo crossing my fingers for a 'cold' day tomorrow. We're forecasting extreme wind chills (up to -50), but I'll be really mad if DD and FI get the day and I don't. Policy says:

primary closed at -45
Middle school -50 (that's them)
high school -55

We're supposed to get temps around -46 tonight and tomorrow. I just want a long weekend.

I love Mad Men, Game of Thrones and FI likes The Newsroom. I'm lukewarm on that one.
Trying to think of the shows I watch.  I never watched much TV until I started dating H.  Now I'm a TV addict. Love most of the shows on premium channels like Homeland, Dexter, The Newsroom, Boardwalk Empire, True Blood.   Some other shows I watch are HIMYM, Sons of Anarchy, Modern Family, American Horror Story, The Walking Dead, Grey's Anatomy, Falling Skies. My guilty pleasure shows are Vampire Diaries (love, love, love this show - I'm such a 14 year old girl), Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Keeping Up With the Kardashians. And I'm also seriously addicted to HGTV.

<div>I seriously can't imagine cold this cold. I went to college for 2 years in NH and we had very cold winters, where the high for the day was in the single digits, but this is -50 a new level of cold. </div><div>
</div><div>I got acclimated to weather around 15 degrees, and never having a snow day once in the two years I was there. But coming back and living in NJ has made me weak again. I shudder at the thought of -55! </div>

Ugh, Britt, that sucks.

Random vent.  I don't get why people feel the need to say "hello?" 20 times when they answer their phone and the person on the other end doesn't respond.  If I say "hello?" twice and the person on the other end doesn't respond, I hang up.  We have a new guy at work and he's been getting on my last nerve all week.  Every little thing he does is so incredibly irritating.  ETA: I've also overheard him make several rude comments about women and I would very much like to punch him.

• LLs- It's pregnancy! haha

and yes it sucks, I understand it's alot of money( I can sell back my phone as long as it turns on for 200) and with the house purchase so close, but $300 isn't going to make or break us and he just made me feel like I did it on purpose. blah- :(
image
• I'm sorry Brittany, that sucks, especially about him yelling at you :( It is good you can sell it back though. This may sound strange, and I'm not positive if it works, but I've heard that if you put your cell phone submerged in dry rice, it dries out the phone.

Lls, I hate annoying coworkers in general, especially ones that sit close to you who you have to put up with all the time. I guess it's a life lesson to put up with people you don't like. I get irritated all the time at the guy who sits in the cubical in front of me. Fortunately he's part time and not here every day.

• I do too.  I normally have better patience, but I just have such a hard time tolerating annoying people at work.  I put up with them, but I don't like it!  Haha.
