Snapfish photo book help!

I am doing an 8 1/2 x 11 photo book on snapfish for my guestbook. I abandoned Blurb because I didn't have the patience to figure it out and snapfish was easer excect it keeps telling me my cover photo (pro engagement pic) is low res. Has anyone had this problem and gone ahead and ordered it? did it come out ok? I had my photographer work on one of them to make it higher res and it still said it was too low for the ocover and then i selected a different photo for the cover but ALL of my pro pics said too low res for the full cover shot. Help! I am 17 days out - I've got to order this thing now. TIA.

Check the snapfish regulations on the resolution for the photo for the cover. Then tell the photographer you need that photo to be that resolution. Most high res pictures need to be 300 dpi. I used to work for Dallas Morning News, that was our regulations.

Jess, you might try the DIY board.

I wasn't printing a wedding album or something like that, it was just a personal one of regular everyday photos and I ran into the same issue, but the photo was close enough to their standards that I printed anyway and I was happy. But if it's far off I wouldn't tempt it because you might be unhappy with the results.

Are you doing a full wrap album cover (like I did?)  Another option is to maybe do a jacket with just a smaller photo in the middle maybe?

Stephie- yes I had intended to do the full wrap but looks like I'll have to change it as I really don't have more time. My photographer cdhecjed it out and couldn't get it to work and she said she even tried her pro pics from her wedding from CD. She checkedewith 2 or 3 other people too so I give up! DIY board was helpful though- they said to definitely not go with it as is, it would be bad. So little time!!
