I am inclined to agree.  Although I do think outdoor weddings photograph BEAUTIFULLY and can be awesome if the weather is perfect, I just don't trust weather to be perfect.  Especially not where I live, hells to the no.

2: If you were asked to be in a wedding and the dress was disgusting, would you still wear it? Yep. 

3: Who do you think the "reg" AE last night was? Brandi. I don't know anyone else other than myself and her who are getting married in about a month who post here and it wasn't me. It probably wasn't but that was my first thought.

4: Which knottie has been annoying the piss out of you lately? I haven't been around much to really notice.

Yeah, at our friend's wedding over Memorial Day weekend, it was so flipping hot. Although I'm sure they didn't think it would be that warn because it's usually cooler in May. But I'm pretty sure my makeup was melting off during the ceremony. I can't imagine how uncomfortable the bridal party was, or the bride/groom.

I didn't go to the wedding but I guess the B&G went ahead with the wedding even those the G cheated on the B and she found out about it. They got married anyways fully knowing they would divorce.

I actually didn't see this happen - but my BFF went to a wedding a couple years ago - one of those "redneck" weddings, and when the reception was over the bridal party and some others went out to the farm to keep the party going.  The bride jumped down out of her new husband's truck and their dog - a huge German shepherd - ran up to her and pissed all over her dress.

Crazy wedding things- Aunt doing a keg stand while two 21-year-olds held her up. Drunk guest 'spiking' a glass beer bottle on a cement floor. Cop at the reception actually giving breathalizers to guests just for fun because guests wanted to see who would blow the highest BAC.

I just thought of another tacky thing - I went to a dry wedding, so none of the guests were served alcohol.  But then the toasts came around and the bridal party and parents each got champagne.  Um.  Wtf?

Oh, gross, hike. I can't think of anythinv crazy, with my whole, what, 3 weddings I've been to? But I'mg oing to a wedding in a couple weeks and am expecting at least 1 crazy thing to happen. It's my family, something will happen.

Mara, that's why we got married in April. We wanted an outdoor wedding but May through practically November would be unbearable. It was really nice on our wedding day, the perfect temp.

I didn't see it because I didn't know FI at the time. But at FI's aunt's wedding, his mom got so drunk so threw up all over the lawn, laughed about it despite the entire family being disgusted with her and kept drinking afterward. She was told to leave, she threw a fit and stormed off. She still thinks it's hilarious and wonders why her sister barely talks to her.

Two of our friends got married last year and we just saw the groom this weekend. He told us that their officiant, who seemed completely sweet and normal at the wedding, talked about her divorce for extended periods of time during their premarital counseling sessions and would always bring the topic back to that. He also said she tried to start a fight between him and his wife. Totally surprising.

HIke that is horrible.

We went to a wedding last year where the combination of the DJ being horrible and the groom being wasted resulted in the groom just jabbing his arm up the bride's dress to get her garter and just chucking randombly it before people could really get gathered.  Not nearly as bad as the stories you are all telling, but it was still interestting.

Wait until after and drop that shiiiit off at Goodwill like the rest of us, don't let your guests watch other guests leave with the gifts they bought for you.

Yeah, that makes sense.

When I was in my best friend's wedding someone stepped on my toe really hard with their stilettos.  I was drinking and even though it hurt, I didn't realize it was bleeding for awhile.  My foot bled everywhere and got on the bride's dress :(  Luckily it came out when we got it cleaned.

My boss is an ordained minister and was asked to marry his friend a few months ago.  He was originally married to someone who had the same first name as his last name (an example would be Ashley Ashley or Courtney Courtney) but they divorced.  My boss was so worried about saying the ex wife's name that he stressed himself out and did it (We are gathered here today to join John and Ex wife instead of John and New wife).  He was mortified.
