Here is my dilemmna. I do not want young kids at my ceremony/reception for several reasons - 1. I would hate to be in the middle of my vows and a baby starts crying. 2. I dont want to see them running around my reception. 3. I am serving alcohol at my reception. To me, its not a kid friendly enviroment.
Now, here are my issues. When I state no young kids, this includes my 1yr Godson and 4 year old Goddaughter. I know my BFF is going to be very offended (she is already disappointed that I am not having flower girls in the wedding).
My second issue is determining the cut-off age. My Godkids are among the youngest. All other kids are 10 yrs+. My BFF is spoiled and I know that if I allow my 10 yr old niece/nephew, she will have something to say.
Either I will feel guilty for not allowing young kids or I will be upset if I do. What are the thoughts/experiences from the ones that did not want to allow children but was talked out of it and the ones that did not allow them.
