What should I....

... have for dinner?  Jeremy and I got a plethora of kitchen gadgets this weekend, and I want to start using them all!

I'm sick of my normal go-to recipes, and I have no food in the house. I need go grocery shopping anyway, so give me anything you've got.

    Did you get a mixer (or potato masher)?  If so, you should make mashed potatoes.  That's what I did last night anyway. 

    Also bacon and brown sugar green beans.

    omg, I didn't know what that was so I Googled and it looks SO good, I'm hungry now. I will likely be eating a quick lean cuisine when I get home which obviously isn't as tasty as that.


    Another one for you Steph: grilled peppered salmon with wild rice and asparagus sautédwith sun dried tomatoes - what I would like to make tonight if i had the time.

    Oh, and recipes are definitely welcomed!

    I also have my Kitchenaid mixer, so I will be asking for baking recipes soon too I suppose ;)

    Hero Pasta Salad.
    - Tri colored rotini, chopped lettuce, cubed or sliced pepperoni, salami, ham, turkey, and any cheeses of your liking( I normally stack it and cut it into cubes, same with the meat. I add pepperincini too. Then I mix olive oil and balsamic vinegar together and drizzle over and toss.

    DELICIOUS!

I can't wait until I get to use my wedding presents. ummm. except the set of pots I already started using because my aunt insisted I tell her how they perform. </div>

    Ok, not really gadgets. Just new pans and mixing bowls and a Slap Chop and peelers, little stuff like that. We only got a few electrics- my KitchenAid Mixer, a dehydrator, and a toaster :)  

    and this really cool internet stranger I know sent me an apple corer/slicer/peeler.
