Confessions?

Re: Confessions?

  • I wash our sheets once a week.

Also, we have sex a few times a week, but I never want to do it right after I've changed the sheets. My H has not yet caught on to the timing. He just thinks we don't have sex on Thursdays.
  • I'm eating lunch so I had to bypass all of the nose-picking, dirty underwear talk.

Special, I'm having TB for lunch too - it's Friday so therefore fat and calorie free (that's my story and I'm sticking to it).

My confession is that my rear view mirrow broke almost 2 months ago and I've had a replacement for at least 6 weeks but have been too lazy to install it.
AATB, you are too fracking funny! My confession is stupid, but let's get this out of the way so I am not flamed for pretending I poop peonies and sweat lemon drops.  I am an unabashed private nose picker.  I do change my underwear most nights before bed.  I don't always shower after I work out and I sometimes enjoy reveling in my own stink for a few hours to fully appreciate being clean post-shower. <strong>Now, my confession is that I really enjoy coming onto TK but that I lurk a lot more than I post because I get intimidated by many of the strong personalities and close friendships</strong>.  Maybe I feel more guarded online than I even am IRL, but I have a hard time opening up and making real connections on here.  *Hides behind flame retardant curtain

I was hesitant to start posting too because of this. Also because I couldn't f'n remember anyone's SNs and stories. Once you actually start posting and interacting with people it becomes easier. And now I remember people.

  • Flame retardant curtains will not save you up in here, RWS.  But stick around and post :) none of us got to be good buds by just being lurkery loos.

If I wasn't vain as shiiit, I wouldn't wear makeup to work.  I hate applying it and no one gives a rip what you look like on the radio, lol.  Although I freely admit I am wearing too much makeup today.  I look like a two-bit hooker.  It's awesome.

    HA! <div>
</div><div>I refuse to have sex after I've showered or if the sheets are clean. There are some things that just should not be spoiled.</div>
  • OCF, I sweat SO much when I sleep. So I shower at night and in the morning it's a quick one. I'm like AATB though, I like showers and I especially like brushing my teeth in the shower. That might be weird, but I love it.

  • Kate and LDY, I keep buying makeup, thinking I'll wear it. I do not. Maybe once a week, at most, I'll wear makeup. I do buy a great deal of lipstick, though I rarely wear it.
I love showering, but I hate post-showering stuff, so I tend to not want to shower.  Like detangling my hair, etc.   My confession is I'm really annoyed with H for calling into work tonight. Mainly because he's not really sick, just tired and a little sore, but also because now I'm not going to my book club because I feel like I should stick with him since he works nights and we're rarely home in the evening together.
    Posted by djhar
oh boo that sucks. My H works nights most times too (6P to 6A) so i would probably do the same. OR, I would say "You knew I had book club, I will see you at 9 when I get home. Thanks."

  • I confess that I just mentally molested a man with a permed mullet (think billy ray cyrus) in shorty cut off jorts.

I work with a dude that is so stuck in the late 80's early 90's that I never would have noticed much about his body. He wears pleated tapered leg jeans, and just overall old school shiz. I was walking in between buildings for a meeting and he was out running on the track in nothing but his shorty shorts and sneakers, and OMG he's built like a brick shithouse. His body is pretty effing amazing, then he passed me and his sweaty permed mullet was stuck to his sweaty gorgeous back and I was pretty much over it.
My face turns really red when I work out, too. Everywhere but right above my lip, that part stays white so I look even more ridiculous like I have a mustache or something. I cannot sleep if I haven't showered if I worked out. No way. Brandi, I wish I was closer to you<strong>, I'd be your workout buddy and you probably wouldn't want to work out still, but I'd make you :)

This is truly what I need.  FI works out every single day and I hate to try going to the gym with him because he is in such better shape than me that I just feel worse about myself.  He also tries to push me really hard and that isn't a great method for me.  My personal trainer was amazing, but I just can't afford the 175 a month anymore.

  • DJ, I hear you on hating the post-shower stuff. It's much easier now that I have short hair, but it used to take three hours to air dry. Using a blow dryer tends to make me look windblown.

I like my curls, but there are definitely times I envy women who can wash, dry, and style their hair in 20 minutes.
ha LDY then I guess a confession for me could be I don't understand how women can just wear no makeup all the time. I have to have at least foundation and blush on each day (unless it is a weekend where I don't leave the house) But WTF about looking professional? that is kind of weird.
    Posted by KateJ10
Confession: I think I look pretty good wtihout make up. At least when I am semi-tan. I'll usually wear it to work in the winter when I'm a ghost but other than that the only times I've worn make up in the last few months was at my make-up trial and my wedding. I definitely still think I look "professional". If I looked like shiiiit I'd put make-up on.

  • I confess I don't really know what Magic Mike is about. Is it male strippers? I haven't paid attention to the commercials.

I also confess I pranced around in my wedding dress yesterday for the first time since getting married. It felt good. I want to wear it all the time. And I want to do a TTD. 2 years later...
  • I had a skin cancer scare about two years ago and now I have a big scar on my face from where they did the test.  I started wearing makeup about that time and am beyond self conscious.   I'm not very good about applying or knowing what I'm doing so I don't think it really even does much. I'm actually a little scared about hating my wedding pictures if it's noticeable, which is another reason I want to get some sort of tan.

<div>This summer, my commute is about 90 minutes, and I have to be on the road by 6:45. Since I am most definitely not a morning person, my hair air dries. Having it short is so much easier for me than having it long.</div>

Not wearing makeup doesn't make me look unprofessional, fuckyouverymuch! Next you'll say having curly hair is unprofessional or some dumb shite.

  • I don't think I look that bad without makeup- and I don't wear a ton of eye makeup because I think I look weird with dark eyeshadows and the like. I just think I look more refreshed/healthy/awake with it on. Oh what I wouldn't give for a nice tan right now though.

haha Dmills- I also can't understand people that get "stuck" in a decade style-wise. There are people in my hometown that still have huge perm hair and wear E.N.U.F. shirts.

Yeah that can be pricey. You should check out bodyrock.tv. They're short workouts that you can do in your living room. It's high intensity stuff but it only takes 12 minutes. And it's free! I'm doing it with a friend right now. You could do that at home with your FI goes to the gym.

Nebb I will say that when I go on air for television, I feel like my long curly wavy hair doesn't look professional.  Or maybe that's not the right term - maybe... just... not... polished?  I don't know.  At any rate I don't give a flyingshit because I'm not changing my hair, but I still feel weird about it when I'm on screen.  Especially when I compare my hair to the other women here, lol.

Brandi you should order Brazil Butt Lift.  Leandro can be your trainer and he can work you "to get those shapes that you need so much" lol.  Trust me.

  • You didn't hear? In order to look professional, women must have long, straight hair, a full face of make up, and must wear heels.

At least, that's what I've picked up in my time on TK. I much prefer AATB's stance.
