Good morning.

Today starts my long weekend of work. Boo. I work tonight, double saturday, double sunday then monday. Hopefully it will be busy and worth my while.

Nates, that sounds cute!  We wanted to use those branches with LED lights but we had 20 tables and our entire centerpiece "look" was branches so it would have cost us way more than planned.  We ended up getting big bundles on the cheap at Michael's after Christmas sale  couple years ago and went with candles lol.

Shay, I've seen your table pics--they looked great!  We found the branches for about $16 for two and figured we'd need about three per centerpiece.  We're looking at about 12 tables of ten (we HOPE), so we;ll probably do six of the florist's and six of ours, but have the florist assemble them.  I think it will end up being within or slightly under what the florist quotes us, which was under what we thought we'd spend.  So yay cheapie skills!

i just got through watching The Business of Being Born and am actually relieved that I am not crazy and that there are indeed medical professionals who share the same opinions as I have regarding childbirth.

The sad thing is, out here it's going to be a fight to get what i want/don't want.  I assure you that any delivery room i'm in is going to be a verbal warzone.  I want to buy my own fetal monitor so i don't go to the hospital too early and get pressured into anything.
