I should know the answer to this since I worked in real estate but I don't because this never came up when I did...
How does one determine a list price if there are zero comps that have sold or been listed in the past 6-12 months? There is literally nothing for us to compare to when it comes to listing our house. We will be using a realtor but I don't want to contact them until we're ready, and if our list price isn't going to be where we want it to be then we won't be listing at all... I guess I just don't want to give the realtor the run around if we don't end up listing. I know we can have an FMA done but again, I don't want to waste their time.
