Okay, I don't mean to make fun of this person's design and creativity.. BUT it scares me. A girl I went to highschool with does some modeling, so this popped up on her FB.... Do people really wear things like this in NY? or anywhere?

    A guy that went to college with me used to wear a tail every day.  We used to call him tail boy.  That's my only experience with something like this.

    And betrothed, I'm disgusted with most of the comments that you have posted. I don't think I've ever read such judgmental comments in my life. I'm so lucky that the girls I speak to on theknot are nothing like you...I would've never come on here for ADVICE if I would've encountered a big a bitch as you. I genuinely feel awful for your children or your future children, and I think it would be irresponsible of YOU not to invest in their future therapy sessions starting now.     Yes a tail.  He would tuck it into the waist of his pants and it almost touched the ground.  You can bet your ass we asked him about it.  He said he wore it because it made people pay attention to him.

    I can think of other ways to make people pay attention to me, sans tail. Thats kinda sad that he felt like he had to wear a tail to get attention.

    ETA: was it a tiger tail? dog tail? elephant tail?

    Now this is only appropriate if she in fact were the one responsible for the death of the beast and she were wearing the antlers to gain the power of the animal and as a sign of thanks to the animal for giving its life for her obvious needs for venison.

    True there are, and this kid was strange enough that he got attention just by being there.

    It was kind of like a tiger tail (it had the stripes, but the colors were a bit washed out), but it was thicker than a tiger's tail would be.

    Your Tailboy reminds me of this kid that lived in a dorm with my sister last year, who had a really long rat tail - like, down to the middle of his back.  And he wore a trench coat everywhere.  I mean, hey, trench coat - whatever - but everywhere he went, he RAN.  And the coat would just flow behind him.  I went to visit my sister one night and she took me to her dining center for dinner, and the kid was flying down the stairs.  Then we saw him fly across the street, she was laughing histerically - she said everyone called him "Matrix."  Nice enough kid, I guess... just a little different :)

That was always interesting. on a side note, He and his roommate were busted by the FBI for some weird internet something or other. Rumor has it that it was kiddie porn. I digress.     <div>I had a guy at my college who did the same thing.  It was a fox tail.  His reasoning was something to do with an online persona of his where his username had the word "Fox" in it.  Very strange.  He used to look at porn in the common areas around campus and whenever he found a particularly disturbing picture, he had to share it with everyone sitting in the area.</div>
