  • Good evening! I'm waiting for Secret Life to come on in a few minutes.  ABC Family is my guilty pleasure.  I'm sad that Pretty Little Liars is over for awhile.

Sesh, I say go for the interview.  You'll never know if you don't try, and you'll probably always wonder if it would have worked out if you don't.

  • No more Mad Men talk!   I skimmed half the morning thread to avoid spoliers.   I can't watch in until Wednesday but I am just glad I can watch it then.

  • Nebb, the Steph+J one. I just mentioned not caring about Africa the country :P

MuSu, those are adorable. holy crap.
  • LP, I used to watch Secret Life when it first came out too, but I got so sick of all of the sex talk with teenagers, acting like adults. But I can definitely see why it is a guilty pleasure :)
  • Chels, I get sick of that sometimes too, but I always get sucked back in to watching more.  It's like a train wreck - can't help but look.

Exactly.  I still get happy when I see previews because it's interesting to get a taste as to where they all are now.

    Hi everyone!

I got to cross something off of my Life Goals list today. I fed and pet dolphins! H and I went to SeaWorld, which was awesome, but the dolphins were definitely the highlight!

  • Seriously. What a bizarre 10-day forecast. Apparently we're hitting spring, summer, and fall... all in one week.

  • It's supposed to drop to freezing tonight and then be back to 75 on Wednesday. This is year has been extra weird in terms of weather. It has been good weird though, so I am not complaining.

Sadly, I think it's actually decently realistic.

  • Happy Evening!
The ABC Family talk reminds me of the text conversation I found on my phone between Chloe and Manda, my 10yr old and 20yr old. Chloe is 10, going on 80:

C: Hey Manda! What are you doing?
M: Watching pretty little liars u?
    C: YOU watch that!?
    M: haha why not?
    C:More like trashy little liars!
M: They're not trashy it's on abc family dork
C: So was pretty woman but I couldn't watch that either.
M: It's not trashy it's about them trying to figure out who killed their friend
C: Why can't they solve the obvious mystery with more clothes and less makeup?
M: They wear plenty of clothes they barely even show their arms
C: Butt they show a lot of hiney! (I meant to spell that wrong haha!)
M: No they don't they wear long pants
C: Well then have fun watching trashy little dumb almost technically naked little liars!
    M: Dork.

Again, C is the 10 year old. WTF? She's such a freak. I've never even mentioned that show, so I guess she heard about it at school and decided all this? It makes me laugh anytime I scroll up and read it in my text bank with Manda. /end randomshit about my girls. :)

Welcome to the midwest my dear :)
  • I love your children, Bec.

  • Hi ladies! Matt just broke our TV. He sucks ass.
  • CEW!!!!!!!!!!! Hi. :)

Did he break it permanently? The big one? Oh nooooo.

  • I've LOVED how warm it was last week. I was irrationally pissed when I had to warm up my car again this morning (it was 30 when I left)
  • Hi Bec!!! I love you.

He just fixed it, so now he doesn't suck anymore.
  • Bec how old are you? For some reason I though you were only in your early 30s based on your pic.
  • edited March 2012
    Bec is 83.
  • Yay! Matt lives! :)

Chels, you are very sweet. I'm on the downhill, lightning fast slide to 40.
  • edited March 2012

Damnit Cew! Why do you always bust out with my fucking secrets? I don't tell anyone you have three penises and a tail, now do I?

  • Sorry. I thought it was time for you to come clean. But you don't smell like an 83 year old.
  • I miss you so much, Cew.
  • Good evening ladies! My right leg hurts from running this morning. It boggles my mind since I'm not training for a race, I've just been running for fun, and this hurts almost worse than the tendonitis in my ankle back when I actually was in training. I'm going to take Wednesday off and do yoga instead of running, and see how I feel after that.

    Dinner was spaghetti.

    I want a puppy.

And Nebb, you can buy Jessica Pare's version of "Zou Bisou Bisou" on iTunes for $1.29. Not sure if you knew that or not. :)

  • Yikes Mehg. That's not good. I hope you feel better soon.

J is working tonight, so Chloe and I had edamame and popcorn. That's the extent of my cooking. Hey, it's a protein with a carb, right?

We also worked on a volcano, and Chloe wanted red vinegar to pour into the baking soda lava, and I could not for the life of me find the food coloring. My damn husband put it up UNDER the spice rack in the cabinet. Now, I know it's his kitchen, and he can organize it however he likes, but really?? under the damn spice rack? Who can find that!?!
  • Oh, don't even get me started on where I find things that my husband puts them. When we moved, it was almost armageddon when we were unpacking the kitchen and trying to decide where stuff goes. Our brains work almost exactly opposite of each other.

And yeah the pain in my leg is so bizarre. It feels deep, almost like a stress fracture, but I know that's almost impossible since the femur is the strongest bone in your body. And it's also my hip flexor but I know that'll go away once I get stronger there. My left hip flexor was giving me similar trouble when I first started running.

  • YAY Blue, I am sure you did too, you are a smart girl!
    image
  • Dot I was watching that earlier. The girl who likes to live as if she's in the 1950s didn't seem that loony-tunes to me. I mean, compared to the couple with 5,000 Cabbage Patch Dolls that they treat as kids, or the couple in England with 240 sex dolls.

Congrats on your midterm Blue! Smarty pants!
