I can say for certain that the majority of the time I'm not looking so cute.

2. Hmm, all over really. I love Anthropologie (so expensive though) and a lot of my favorites are from VS, AE, J crew, Target and mostly, little boutiques.  I've gotten a ton of dresses from H&M lately though.

Shelly- because my boss and manager suck. I don't get a lunch, period. I'm not allowed to leave for lunch and when I eat at work I'm lucky if I can get 15 minutes with out the boss nagging me. It's the suck.
If we weren't shorthanded right now and I wasn't the only one working wed. I'd just leave, but, not the case

Black leather 3 seater couch and matching recliner My parents surprised Scott by buying the recliner for us, then we got our refund money in today so I surprised him with the couch. I can't wait until they get here.

We got a new comforter to go on our bed the other day too. It makes the room feel like a real room since things are starting to go together.
 And yes, those are black leather curtains. Scott normally works night shifts and they block out daylight like no other!

Bec, did you say in one thread you are Canadian? Now you live in North Carolina? The last time I was in Thunder Bay, it was December and nearly 30 below at noon. The last time I was in North Carolina, it was over 100 degrees and massively humid.

I am in Minneapolis, MN, which is distinctly warmer tham most anywhere in Canada it seems (the lowest temps we see most years are 20 below-usually at night). I am ok in the desert states (love the SW climate, actually) but I am no fan of even our humidity in the summer in MN.  N. Carolina is gorgeous but WOW on the humidity.

If you are Canadian and you can handle that change, hats off to you!

Nope, I'm born and bred NC. Smack in the middle of 100 degrees and 75-80% humidity this week. Mowing the lawn makes me lose 5lbs in sweat!

Well, that's good because I would be fearful for the health of a Canadian relocated to the South :)

My Dad came from GA. The South is an amazing place full of people who have not melted in spite of the horrendous humidity!

I like to think the heat/humidity constantly moisturizes my skin and keeps me youthful. That, and I usually refuse to go outside between June and September.

The first year I lived here I thought I was going to die.  We moved in August.  My cousins thought I was lazy and princessy because I wouldn't play outside with them.
