I would love it if it was that cold in our office!!  It's always so muggy and gross in here compared to the hallways and other offices but our department is the red headed step child here.

Gosh, my mood has been all over the place lately.  I am seriously not in a good mood at all.  Bad mood, bad, bad mood.  I think I need a vacation.

My co-workers were nice enough to ask me what I wanted for my birthday (since I'm not really big on cake) so she brought in a homemade peach cobbler with ice cream today.  I was happy (it was awesome) but another co-worker was like "why couldn't we have cake" and I thought you had your birthday 2 weeks ago, with cake, get over yourself it's not all about you.

Mariah - I hope you start feeling better. I know how you're feeling, though. I've been in a funk all week. At least it is the weekend and you can have a glass of wine for 10 tonight.

Happy Birthday Lauren~ who wouldn't want cobbler and ice cream?? YUmmm. Reminds me of how my dad will gripe about what restaurant I choose for my birthday. He actually asks why we can't go somewhere he likes...on MY birthday! --Sorry you've been feeling crappy Mariah~ I'd send you over a swirl margarita if I could. Margaritas make everything better :P

I'm already tired of family and friends (not knotties!) being so judgemental (and competitive) of mine and other people's weddings...mostly the older crowd. We are having a really nice wedding and reception at a great venue that you get to enjoy for free, and that we are paying for probably 90% all by ourselves because we chose to do it that way. We are working within our means and won't have even a penny of debt when we get back from our honeymoon.  SO SHUT UP and get over yourself!!Ok, I feel better. :-)

Happy Birthday Lauren! The office I worked in at UNT was always soooo cold because it was somehow connected with the AC for the Rare Books Room, and they have to keep it at 65 because it's best for the fragile materials. We always had space heaters going in there. And during the summer, I had to wear tank tops/flip flops for the 1/2 mile walk from the parking lot to the library, so I kept a sweatshirt and thick hiking socks in the office. Seriously.
