Styes suck but they're usually gone within a week!  Hold a hot washcloth over it

...except my uncle had a stye that lasted like, ten months or something crazy though.  Maybe it wasn't a stye.  Maybe I shouldn't have mentioned this.

My car needs an oil change and I has no moneys, whiiiiiiiine.

I also want to whine about why things cost so damn much in my area but next to nothing in another area. My best friend moved to Alabama and bought a house in full (and it is adorable! small, but still) for what I need for a freaking down payment.

It's my last long weekend before I start my first real career job, and it's supposed to rain at the cottage. WTF.

Also, you get a big WTF from me too for the stye in your eye. Those are such a piss-off. If you can manage it without looking like a dink at work, a tea bag soaked in the hottest water you can stand will help to make the swelling go down. Leave it on for 10 minutes, warming it up as you need to. I killed the one on DH's eye like that the other night, and it was gone in the morning!

Gah. I have to go next week, and I always anticipate the puff of air and pull back before they can get the test done. I end up getting air-puffed about 3 or 4 times. :(

It's okay, my H eats like a girl sometimes. As in, he gets all concerned about calories and fat and whatnot. LIke he has anything to worry about.

He's not very good with cars though. He can change the oil, but I look to my stepdad for most other car-related things.

I dont think its fair that I cant have seafood for dinner every single night. Why does it have to be so expensive? I think I need to move to the maritimes, but I think if I made mussels for dinner every night my husband would divorce me because he hates them. He also hates the maritimes.

My whine is that I wish my H would eat shellfish.  I had the most amazing shellfish 4 ways dish for our anniversary dinner and the shrimp was, like, the best I've ever had.  Sometimes I miss eating those things.

Boo, indeed for rain at the cottage. My new job is in Brantford (ehhhhk) but it's actually almost my dream job right now, so I can't complain.

Aaaaaaand, let me piggy back the lack of shellfish whines. DH will eat shrimp (hot, and in something like pasta, and only on extremely rare occasions) and fish and chips. He ate crab legs a couple of times, but made the bad medicine face the whole time. I've also been threatened with divorce if I cook mussels in the house. Clearly, we need a shellfish GTG.

I kinda agree.

I do like wearing little tops and shorts in the summer but I'm ready for fall (even though my wedding is looming and there's so much shiit to do).  I'm ready to bust out the jeans and the long sleeved shirts.  I love wearing sweaters.

Um, shellfish GTG sounds fantastic.

Commuting to b-ford is awesome.  You never have the sun in your eyes and there is zero traffic.  I did 2 co-op terms there and lived at my parents place in Dundas.  The worst part for you will just be getting out of the hammer!
