Snarky Brides

Morning Ladies!

We are headed out here in a few, I'm sure I will miss a lot of excitement while I'm gone (insert sarcasm font).

Ok ladies, figure out a way to liven up the boards while I'm gone.

Have a great holiday!

  • Morning.  I'm heading across the parking lot to a street market shortly.  Otherwise I have no plans for today.  Probably should vacuum at some point.
  • Just back from the grocery store. Sunny but cool (we had frost last night - argh!!!), so it's sheeting in the roof today and doing a bunch of stuff outside while we can. There's some painting that should be done before it gets too cold.

Wish my clothesline was still up. Nice day for bedsheets on the line!

  • I would love some cooler weather.  it's been so hot here all summer.  So glad I'm only 6 months pregnant and didn't have to go through 3rd tri in this heat.
  • I was pregnant with both kids through the winter and spring, so I didn't have to deal with the heat and pregnancy together. All of that could change next year though, if FI and I do decide to have a baby. Now I'm looking at the teaching schedule and would like to try and plan for a summer baby.

I did find I was hot the whole time I was breastfeeding too though. Heads up if that's your plan - it does raise body temp and help lose baby weight.

  • That is my plan.  And I like the idea of losing the baby weight :)
  • Bfing is amazing for it. And with dd, we both got really bad thrush, and she lost her latch, but I continued to express. I ended up pumping for almost a year and had all sorts of milk stored.

I was back into regular clothes within weeks. BF rocks!

  • Have fun, kd!

I'm working on lesson plans today, as has become my new weekend routine. Eventually I'll drag my lazy butt to the grocery store, and hopefully finish editing the latest book so I can get it to the damn guy already. Then I can finish  my other book. I'm so behind that it's starting to overwhelm me.

Why do I have 4 jobs again?
  • You like to be busy Sesh?  And are trying to get ahead in life?  I hope you get done what you need to get done.

General fiction, for the most part. I have a couple YA books and a few others more for an older audience. I don't really stick to one genre.

Links, additional info please! I'm always looking for YA lit for students. (If you don't mind sharing the info, that is!)
