Last year was kind of weird, but typically the weather is beautiful in March. Normally, it's warm enough to be on the beach all day although, as PP said, the water is much colder at that time of year. The great thing about south FL in the spring is that we don't get that much rain and it's not unbearably humid yet. In the summer almost every day is rainy and sticky.

I think the earliest I've been to the Keys was the end of February and it was so nice. To me, it's perfect beach weather because you're nice and warm but not sticky and and gross. I'm sure you'll enjoy it if you decide to go!

I am not sure about March. I went in June a few years ago, and it was perfect.. although a bit warm during the day.

Definitely one of my favorite places to visit!
