Re: Hey, ladies!

  • CCF your interview is today, right? Good luck!

I almost asked you why you weren't there right now, then I remembered you are 3 hours behind me. Sometimes I forget people live outside my time zone, apparently.
  • Good luck on your interview, CCF.

And betrothed, I'm disgusted with most of the comments that you have posted. I don't think I've ever read such judgmental comments in my life. I'm so lucky that the girls I speak to on theknot are nothing like you...I would've never come on here for ADVICE if I would've encountered a big a bitch as you. I genuinely feel awful for your children or your future children, and I think it would be irresponsible of YOU not to invest in their future therapy sessions starting now. Because trust me when I tell you honey, they're gonna need it. ~jcaruncho2010

  • I can still shave my legs, but I need H's assistance with - TMI ALERT- taking care of, ahem, other areas. I haven't seen that whole section in weeks, and doing it blindly in a sensitive area = not a good idea.

  • I'm pretty good B! Umm, well, I'm leaving Aaron (still working out the logistics on that one) and I've got an interview for the Marketing Admin. Position at work today so I'm nervous and excited. Haha.

How have things been on your side?

Thanks Sesh! I got a text from a CW at 9:15 asking how the interview went. The office doesn't even open until 8:30, hahaa.
  • Can I just say I had no idea that was a peanut butter cup?  Seriously thought it was a cappuccino.

Hi B!  I miss you.  I cry tears.  See?  Cry

I'm sorry :(  I wish you the best in doing that.  And absolutely good luck on your interview.

Things have been okay over here.  I don't have too much to complain about.  It's a beautiful day, and I have a long weekend and vacation coming up, so I'm just going to focus on that :)

And Kim- I'm licking your tears!  They taste so delicious!

  • Thanks B. :)

Thanks Koda! I'll let you guys know how it went..
  • CCF!  I read about your interview in a dead thread last night and did a happy dance.  I'm excited!
  • Me too Kim! Haha. My boss sent me an email today and gave me awesome points to say in the interview (the fact that I can start immediately PT, I know 85% of the job already, etc. etc. ) so I'm not QUITE as nervous.

    Thanks Rhon!
  • Good luck CCF! I hope this is the start of good things to come!

  • Can you still get leg and/or bikini waxes while pregnant?  I can't imagine having to shave my bikini area.  Fire crotch!

You can, but the gikini area is very sensitive, so I hear it is incredibly painful with all the extra bloodflow. That, and the logistics of doing it at this size would be a challenge, to say the least.

Yes you can.  I asked the girl who does mine this question cause I was concerned.  =) This way I won't have to worry abotu reaching my legs and other areas when I get pregnant.

ETA: In regards to the extra blood flow I'd expect some more discomfort but if you've been waxing the area for while the nerves/hair follicles are pretty damaged so it shouldn't be too bad.  I also asked about the size thing and they can easily position you comfortably.  I got a font of information for my worried mind.
  • I had laser treatments before getting pregnant, but all these hormones have counteracted them. I'm sure the forest is not near as densly tree'ed as it would have been otherwise, but it's certainly not the barren wasteland it should be. I can't wait to start treatments again. Next time I'm making them do my underarms too.

  • Are you serious, Sarah?!  I have been getting laser treatments under my arms, and I don't want to go through this shyte again after pregnancy.  It's really painful!

Thanks for the bikini info Alli and Aprov.  I've been wanting to ask about that at the salon, but for some reason it seems so weird to be concerned about your bikini area when you're pregnant.  Haha.  Glad to know I'm not the only one.

You would be in plentiful company. It seems like there are lots of posts over on TB about grooming the nether regions and how mortified people are that they aren't perfectly groomed when going into labor.
  • Cry Damn, I'm bummed that I missed all of this! B, my love, you'll have to come back on one of my days off, okay? Or you know, come up to visit me this weekend. ;)

Sesh, I'm really sorry to hear about Whisky. What a trooper he is! Sounds like you guys are taking really good care of him and he is a very lucky kitty.

CCF, yay for a pretty avatar like you promised! :) Also, I didn't know you were leaving your guy. I'm sorry. I hope you find much happiness in the very near future.

I felt weird about it but Karen (who has been at my spa for years) says she gets asked it like once or twice a week.  I mean I plan on keeping myself maintained all over....toe nails painted, etc.  I've just found it easier in general to get everything waxed.  I wish my underarms didn't have such a severe reaction to the wax or I'd be getting that area done all the time too.
