We just bought a 12 pack of Pepsi Next.  I decided I wanted to try one, so I went to the small fridge in the laundry room where we keep cans of stuff.  I grabbed a light blue can, and as I was walking from the laundry room to the kitchen, I popped it open and took a swig.  And almost spit it out.

Yeah, it was a can of Bud Light, not Pepsi Next.  They are the same light blue color, and the can I grabbed was turned so I couldn't see the Bud logo.  I hate beer and I was NOT expecting to taste it. 

Tell me something stupid you've done recently.

I left my coffee maker set to 12 cups after cleaning it yesterday so when it started this morning it ground enough beans for 12 cups though I'd only put in enough water for 4.  Yes, I chewed my coffee this morning.

I lost a really important paper. I have NO IDEA where I put it. I have to pay the bank $5 for another one. I'm pretty mad at myself.

Well, I used the bathroom at work (number 1 lol) and I didn't realize the toilet paper roll was stuffed in my pants so after washing my hands and leaving the BR, I drug half a roll of TP behind me across the whole restaurant. Everyone was pointing and laughing.

I was thinking:

A. Ew why do you have Bud Light? and B. What's wrong with cracking a beer?!

More of a klutz move than an idiotic move but I fell off my bike a week ago. I was not even moving, I was just tying to dismount. My arm hit a curb and I have an pretty impressive bruise. The sad thing is that this is not my first time falling at a standstill. FH wants to get me a set of downhill pads.

I hate beer. I was not the one to buy it. My dad drank it for me. Blech. And girlie, I've totally done that. I am a total space cadet sometimes. You'd think I would learn, but nope.

I got gas today, and drove off with the nozzle still in my tank...I'm so happy it was one of those break away nozzles, and that the manager didn't have a shiiit fit,  but still. Naturally all of the pumps were full of people and all of said people were staring.

Oh and Celtic, j hope our bruise heals fast! That sucks. I still have a bruise on my ass from falling down the stairs a couple of weeks ago. Sometimes I dont know how I manage to function on a daily basis.

Lizzie, I am so afraid of doing that one day. 

I can't remember if I mentioned here or not but last month I was sleep walking and apparently decided to fill the washing machine with water and then pour dry cat food in.  I still want to know WTF I was thinking then.

I think I have the winner. I knew I lacked common sense but didn't realize the extent of my deficit until last Thursday. There was a MASSIVE backup on I-57 on Thursday. I was freaking out a bit because I had approximately 45 minutes to get from job one, home to change, and to job two attempting to take an alternate route because I-57 was a parking lot. About halfway there, my car overheated. I pitched a mini fit because I was terrified I was going to be late, popped open the hood and decided I could cool down the engine faster by opening the radiator cap. I know this is a public forum but please please don't lecture me on how bad of an idea that was. A scalding hot radiator fountain poured all down my forearm is lesson enough. Second degree burns suck. On the bright side, the vicoden are kind of fun.

Ouch Spartan!  My sister did that once.  FYI, in the future, turn your heater on and switch the control to draw the external air in (not recircle the interior air) - it'll pull the heat of the engine.

Thanks for the suggestion. In the future, I will not be opening the hood.  The worst thing is I KNEW better and I did it anyway. Blech. But point is, no one should feel like an idiot anymore : )
