Hi everyone! So, I'm trying to collect recipes for a cookbook I want to put together. Well, I guess technically 2 cookbooks. One for dinner type foods, and one for desserts.
What are some of your most favorites in either of these catagories? TIA!
For categories, I like slow-cooker recipes, recipes for the grill, 5 or 10 ingredient recipes, easy recipes for kids, and uhhhh....cupcakes LOL.
Have you checked out the food blogging community? I can link you to a few of my faves if you want.

Because I'm a complete kitchen nerd, I group a lot of my recipes together and put them into Power Point presentations. I'll search through some tonight and post. Do you want All in one dinners, or are you looking for sides, salads all of that kind of stuff too?
I don't know why the font is so small, I C&Pd from another document; the recipe is from Woman's World magazine.
Cherry Cola Float Cupcakes
3/4 cup drained maraschino cherries, patted dry (reserve 1/3 juice from jar)
1 pkg. (18.25 oz) white cake mix
1 cup cherry coke
3 egg whites
2 tbs. oil
12 drops red food coloring
1 container cool whip
sprinkles
24 drained and stemmed cherries
Preheat oven to 350
Line 24 muffin cups with cupcake liners. Chop ¾ cup cherries, reserve.
On low speed, beat cake mix, cola, egg whites, and reserved cherry juice until combined, approx. 30-60 seconds. On medium speed, beat 2 minutes.
Beat in food coloring, stir in reserved cherries.
Divide batter among cupcake liners. Bake 15-20 minutes or until toothpick entered in center comes out clean. Cool 15 minutes. Transfer from pan to cool completely.
Spread cupcakes with cool whip, top with sprinkles and stemmed cherries.

They are a bit time consuming, only because the batter sits over night. But they are worth it. And I just did Sesh's cupcakes a few months ago and I couldnt keep people out of them.

I can vouch! These are fabulous.
