There is good and bad...the bad is that I didn't get the job, they did, as I had presumed they would, and gave the job to someone internally. The good news is that he (Superintendent) let me know that as a result there will be another posting. Because of union rules and what not, he can't
tell me to apply but I am hoping that his informing that the position will be posted indicates that he would like me to consider it (I told him verbally that I will be submitting my application when the position is posted). He did also say that I had a good interview.
Anyways, while I am disappointed I am not completely dejected. I can only hope that if I apply for the subordinate role they will reconsider me. It is likely to be another 2-3 week process but I will let all you ladies know when I know. Thanks for all the support along the way.
