    You can strike without a union I would assume. You just refuse to work until you're paid. Not that difficult. It might not be as organized as if it was unioned.

    Oh ok. I didn't think you were union but I couldn't remember.

    Honestly, if I weren't getting paid, I wouldn't be teaching. Maybe the students need to say to their parents "Hey ya cheap motherfucker. Pay the school so I can learn shiit, otherwise I'm going to end up living in your basement until you're dead."

    Chels- a friend of mine worked at a charter school and pay checks were always late. They went under and didn't open the next year, I would look for another school if I were you.

    The owner of the school is too afraid to piss off parents (ie not letting their kid come to school if they haven't paid).  I don't quite understand it.  I know it's a small school, but geesh. If you can't support yourself, then close.  Not to mention there are way more teachers here than necessary.There should be more like me (tha tteach multiple subjects).  That would save a lot of money right there

    Guys I love Bill Clinton.  Like, irrationally love him.  He's the man.

    Chels, I'm sure the kids are amazing, but if enough parents aren't paying so that it affects payroll, that is a serious situation.  These parents are not under the impression that they have to pay, which I think reflects on the school/administration.  I'd be hella nervous about all that.  Seriously man.  Not cool.
