I already posted this on The Nest but... *I officially signed up to run the 1/2 marathon at the Dallas White Rock marathon in December! *I have a little more than 2 weeks until my first 10k!  *Today's my Friday!!!!!  I have a four day weekend!

I have 36 days left!I only have to work 1/2 day tomorrow!I take my bridals on Saturday!I have "banked" enough OT that I can pay myself for the other 3 days I'm missing for our honeymoon (I only have 40 hrs vacation time).Congrats Mariah on the races...I wish I had the motivation to do that.Congrats alf on the inch-loss, haha!

Way to go on all your AW's! I'm going to Long Beach, CA for work in October, so FI is going to fly in for the weekend for a little excursion to Catalina Island for their jazz fest to celebrate our engageversary.  Yeah, it's a little gay but oh well

Congrats everyone! alfdallas - thanks for posting that.  I've been getting frustrated because of all of my hard work watching my diet and exercise and zero change on my scale.  I just thought to take measurements this week, so hopefully I'll see the same kind of success you have!

Mine are: 30 days from today I will be married. I'm so excited to be marrying Steve. He is such a great guy. The tasting at the Cowboys went so much better than even I expected. The food is going to be one of the best parts. My RSVP's are rolling in ever so slowly. Still.

I did a digital painting of my nephew and I'm very pleased with it. I haven't tried to do a digital painting in forever because I was always pretty horrible at it. Thanks ladies Marissa--It's just a painting done on a computer. I did it in photoshop using a pen tablet.

We finally booked our reception site!! Another big check done. I feel sooo behind, but we just started. Also ordered my dress this week!! YAY!!

Textechgal- where did you book? That's awesome. Such a big check! I just went to a wonderful lady in Arlington to have my dress altered. Taking it in on the hips, sewing a small tear, steam pressing, bustle, AND having an inch taken up 2 pair of Mike's jeans will only be $30. AAAaand, I stopped for Sonic happy hour on my way home and got a Route 44 diet cherry limeade.

I don't think this counts as an AW, but it is pretty funny. I was in Kinko's a little while ago and I saw a guy with a monkey. Seriously. It was wrapped in a blanket, and he was cuddling it and cooing at it. Strangest thing ever.
