Opinions again...

FYI - I know bridesmaid jewelry isn't considered their gifts.  But I'm still buying it Gifts are TBD at a little later date...

Anyway the other day I posted some silver/rhinestonish jewelry for opinions but some girls convinced me to go the pearls route. 

My colors are grey, wine and light pink.  The dresses are floor length grey satin and strapless.  This etsy seller lets you pick the pearl colors.

Choice A:
This choice is kinda neat - I could do dark grey, light grey and pink pearls with it.



Or choice B:
elegant but a definitely understanded.  I think I'd do light pink.




Also - I'd get some little pearl earrings to go with.

Honestly, I wouldn't ask about this so much except the girls who are in my wedding party (my sisters and two closest friends) are always my go-to girls, and I want it to be a surprise for them.

Depends on the dress.  But at first glance I like the first one.

I really prefer the second one.  My reaction to the first one was a little "eww."  I have a very classic aesthetic, though.

I think the first is too much, and the second too little. So I guess I don't really like either one. But I'm not a fan of pearls, so there's that.

Pics of the BM dresses? If they're just kind of plain, I think the first one would be ok 'cause it would jazz them up a little, if that's what you're going for. If you want a classic look, #2 would probably work best.

I like the second one, only because it's hard to pull off two toned pearl colors that could practically match other outfits other than their bridesmaid dresses...

ETA: What does #2's earrings look like? 

ETA2: Then I re-read your post, maybe simple stud earrings are good, or something like this.

AATB, my honest to goodness opinion is that I am not a fan of either.  I like the idea of pink pearls, but I'd just do a simple, classic strand of them.

Um - well, I could either do some single hangy pearls, or just single stud pearls.  I like hanging ones a little more, since they'll more than likely wear their hair up.

Now that I see a picture of the dress, I'm going to agree with Jenny and say a strand of pearls might look better. And maybe a sort-of short drop earring with a pearl on the end? What about something with two strands? Like this:

See, with the colors you described, I'd just as soon go with simple white pearls.  Of the two necklaces, I like the second one because it's really simple and will compliment any style dress.  The first one is pretty, but if the BM dresses are intricate at all, it might look like "too much"

...here's where I get ridiculous.  I know that white pearls would look fine with these dresses, but I'm wearing ivory - and there is NO white anywhere else in my wedding.

I hate white.

Even though no one would give a crap if they wore white pearls, it would still drive me up a wall, because I'm neurotic about it.  I know that the bridesmaids don't have to match me - but I do like the idea of them tying in a little with me (the pearls) but kinda matching the wedding colors.

What about just a strand of grey pearls. I have some and I love them. they have a bit of iridescence to them so they pic up on pinks and blues, and they are quite versatile so the girls would probably get plenty of use out of them later on.

Yeah I've thought about grey too.

I'm so indecisive about this it's ridiculous.  Picking out my ensemble was way easier, oddly enough.

I agree, white pearls aren't really white, but I do like the pink ones with chocolate (seems to be a fad according to costco's jewelry section) and I like black pearls

I love this perspective.  I mean I know that no matter what I pick, someone's bound to see it and not like it, that's just the nature of it.  But it makes me feel better when MOST of the people I ask agree with one thing.  So I appreciate all this feedback - thanks again girls.

Sorry I don't really like either.  I'd go with a simple white or grey strand of pearls with the dress you've selected.

I also think its fine if its good jewelry to give that as the gift.
