I guess I care enough to say:

1. Yes, it is kind of "clannish" here at times and oriented to 'the regulars" but you know, it's a message board. Who Cares?

2. Everyone else has a right to post their opinions on a message board, too not just the OP.

3. I think as some have said that the real "issue" here for the OP is her perception that "the regulars" do not like her. Even if that was the case, is not coming here and stomping your little foor about it as the OP did just supporting what the OP claims she dislikes - the "rule" of the regulars? I mean, she is kind of obviously mad that the popular girls in class don't like her so does that not make them pretty important in her eyes?

4. Those of us who are married enjoy coming to the boards for all sorts of reasons, sometimes to share our experience with those still in the process of planning. Sometimes just to check in on people we "know" from the boards. I agree with some PP's it is really bitchy to make a sideways slam at that. What's it to you?

"Mean" or clannish behavior from the regulars is not what makes me want to check out from these boards sometimes for good. The Knot has been known for years (I mean as in since it started near as I can tell) for a certin snarky bluntness. If you want something else, head to other sites. I mean, there is an actual thread on here that I started that inspired a motherload of flames some months back, and I am still here. What makes me want to throw in the towel sometimes is too much nonsense like the the OP spewed out.

OP, I understand and relate to everything you posted, and you do not come off high-and-mighty or whiny at all!  KUDOS to you for saying what needed to be said! 
Unfortunately, these bitches will never understand.  They are bitches, and as such, will never learn, will never change, and frankly, will bitch at anything and everything, no matter what.  This is the bitchiest part of the forum after all.  (And a bitchy forum overall.)

If you want to post without being bitched at by bitches, there are plenty of non-bitchy wedding discussion sites.  I happen to participate in one of them and I guarantee that there is minimum bitchiness, even to the whiniest and holier-than-thou people.  Bitches get banned. 


That way, you can be happy both on the internet and in real life, you get lots of support and advice from people who really care, and you don't have to take any bitchiness from bitchy bitches.
