Need some ideas for a MUCH older bride (57)

I can't seem to locate any dresses for an older bride that don't look like a mother's dress or bridesmaid dress. Don't really want a suit. I'm 5'3 130lbs, top and bottom proportionate. Looking into a daytime wedding in a church. Anybody got any ideas?

A wedding is a wedding, no matter the age of the bride and groom.  It's about your love and commitment to marriage with your groom.  Celebrate that!!!   Celebrate with all of your heart.  Wear what makes you and your groom happy.  As with any bride of any age you will consider the fit, the style, the comfort.  Wear the gown that "suites" you.  I see plenty of younger brides wearing gowns that do NOT flatter their figure.  So many young brides are trying to please parents, friends, and bossy relatives, and the designers who control what is available.   A mature woman might have learned what flatters her own figure - and her personality.    She might seek to please herself.
I will be 65 on my wedding day.  My hair is whiter than white wedding satin.  I'll be wearing a beautiful gown of taupe silk dupioni with black alencon lace.  My choice has nothing to do with  my age.  My choice is all about me, my figure, my style, and my artistic flair.  My gown looks very much like MY wedding gown.  It fits me correctly, it won't be worn for any other occasion.  It is SPECIAL.  It doesn't have a train because a train would be  too inconvenient for our venue.  I'm not wearing a veil, but I will have lovely flowers in my hair.
Our wedding will be all about us.  We will be celebrating with our family and close friends at a wonderful venue that has special meaning to us.  Flowers -- oh the flowers!  I'm a florist with many years of experience.
Our wedding won't be a "Hollywood production" with people put into roles and costumes marching in correct positions.  Our wedding will be a personal experience.
I've made wedding gowns for 30 years.  I've made floral arrangements and wedding cakes.  I've even done some catering.  Each bride I met was wishing to have her own personal wedding.  It always took a lot of courage for any bride to make a choice that was outside the traditional box.  I said Hooray to them!   BTW, I've seen endless designs of wonderful gowns for brides who are looking for something to suite their individuality.  Certainly, the "wedding gown" shops are not the only market.
