No birthday plans..help.

I have posted way too many threads on here today but I must post this last one.

I just realized that Kyle's birthday is on Saturday and I have NOTHING planned! I knew his birthday was coming up but I have been so consumed with school and work that I have had no time to plan something fun and festive for him. I need ideas! If you were a 22yr old guy, what would you want to do for your birthday?

I always have plans and now I am in a panic because I have no idea what to do. Please help me. I got as far as dinner (restaurant/bar type thing).

  • Strip club? I don't know what 22 year old boys do, sorry. You know what he likes to do more than we do.

  • Sleep in, maybe play a video game and then get drunk.  That probably is no help.

BJ? It stands for "Birthday Joy."

  • Zippity, get out of my head. That was my first thought too on what a 22 year-old guy wants most for his birthday.

Also? It requires no planning and is free.

  • Oh, also cakes/cupcakes.  Almost every year I make DH a cake that looks really gross to me but is exactly what he likes.  Like pineapple or coconut.  Once I made him cupcakes and he ate all but 6 of them in one sitting.  He would have eaten them all had the rest of us not each had one when he eating his first cupcake.
  • Hah. Well being in the Navy and all, he has a hard time sleeping in because he usually wakes up around 5:45am every day.

Getting drunk is already in the plans lol. Dang, where is Vegas when I need him!

  • You could surprise him with something during the daytime, since it's on Saturday. Is it too short of notice to rally some of his buddies for some paintball or one of those Formula 1/go-kart speedway things? Or they could meet you guys after your dinner for drinks and pool.

  • See that is the thing. He lives 3hrs away from me which means his friends are 3hrs away from us. He is coming to my house this weekend, he is going out tonight with his friends.

I was going to buy him a tattoo (which is what he wants) but he realized that he has pool training for the next 2 weeks. So now I need to find another way to spend our time. I was going to get him a sky diving trip but the time flew by so quick I didn't book it in time.

  • I'm pretty sure most guys would be happy with just sex on their birthday, I know my H would be. And it's free.

Other than that, you know him better than us. Does he have a favorite restaurant? Is he wanting to see a new movie? Is there a video game he's been dying to play? Our birthdays are usually dinner out and a gift of our own choosing. T

his year I choose Daniel Tosh tickets for me, H is still deciding on his (his b-day is always on or right after Thanksgiving, so it's super easy to remember).
  • Paint ball with some buddies or maybe that isn't fun for a military guy.

  • Night, she said they can't really do that because his buddies live 3 hours away.

Sesh, I am totally jealous of your Tosh tickets! I was just looking for some yesterday, and either he already came to Boston, or he's not coming. It's either CT or NY for us if we really want to see him.

Yeah, we got lucky. He's coming to our town and performing like 15 minutes from us, if even. They actually added a second show the same night because they were selling tickets so fas,t and it's not even until October.

The only other comedian I've seen live was Carrot Top, and he was freakin hilarious. So I have high hopes for Tosh.
  • Carrot Top was funny? Well that's cool. I have a hard time looking at his face, but damn have you seen how jacked he is? I think he was on Tosh.0 too, getting a lotion rubdown.

I hope Tosh is funny live too. I saw Joel McHale a couple years ago, and it was pretty much an extension of The Soup-type comedy. It was pretty good.

  • I was surprised, but yeah he was awesome. He uses props in his show (at least, he did then not sure about now) and they were so ridiculous they were hilarious. And his delivery is great too. He even challenged some frat guy in the audience to a beer chugging contest, and lost.

And yeah, if you don't look him in the face it's easier to enjoy his body. He did a bit where he was at a Nascar race and a bunch of air blew up his shirt. You'd think the girls there had died and gone to 6-pack ab heaven.
