Speaking of re-dos and dresses, this dress also makes me want a re-do. I wish the picture I have of the back had saved properly because it is amazing, but for some reason the file doesn't work now.

omg, redo dresses? That's a whole other topic! I have no idea what I would do then...I had to stop looking at dresses after I got mine but I likely would have ended up with something kinda grecco-roman, maybe like cardmonstas?  I never tried this dress on but I wish I had...it's a Maggie...

I adore my dress and I haven't worn it yet, but if I had the chance to go back I would get a dress that is less fitted so I wouldn't be so hard on myself to lose weight last minute.

I am normally a "the bigger and poofier the dress, the better" but there is something I just love about a classic looking lace sheath gown. I don't know how one would look on me, but they are just so elegant and timeless to me.

Something similar to this. I don't love that particular lace, but it's the closest thing I could find quickly. Eh, you KWIM

I did come across this one though. Kind of ridiculous, but it's kind of awesome. (to me, haha)

Isn't it funny what we find charming? Back when we first got engaged, N said "I can't wait to see you all tipsy in your dress, you'll be so cute!" There's really nothing cute about that at all, but I made a swoon face anyway.

Kayla, I originally wanted a dress similar to the first one, too.  I saw a beautiful dress like that, but with a thick sash around the middle, and I was obsessed with it. But, in the end, I went with the kind of dress I said I wanted when I was a kid (ballgownish shape), but with a twist.

Nates- Me too. As elegant and beautiful as I think the lace sheaths are I have always pictured myself in a poofier dress so it just made sense to have one. I didn't even try any other styles on. Though I had always pictured myself in a tiara too, and I am glad I went with a headband instead.
