Someone posted this on my local, and it sounds like a lot of fun. I was thinking about getting FI or one of my friends on board, but $90 is a lot of money if it sucks.

I have done a similar race here, the Subaru Urban Assault. Its a bike race. I think the Urban Dare that is here is by foot and public transport only, but I could be mistaken. My friends have done it and they said it was a blast. The Urban Assault is awesome!

I think this one is all walking/running/public transportation.   I think it looks cool and I know NYC like the back of my hand, so the getting around part should be relatively easy.  Were the clues impossible in the Urban Assault?  It sounds pretty similar to this one.

This actually looks like so much fun! I probably couldn't do it with DH though because he's so competitive and would probably get frustrated at me if I was just wanting to have fun!

I asked FI if he'd want to do it and he was into the idea.  He asked if the trivia was really difficult, so I told him what Sarah said about using outside people or groups sharing info with each other.  He had this look on his face and said, "Umm, I want to win.  I don't want to share."  :)

So if we do it, we'll be on our own because he is Mr. Competition.
