FI and I are closing on our house this week, and we are in a nice suburb-type neighborhood. This is a huge transition for both of us because we have both lived "out in the sticks" most of our lives.
I am wanting to accept trick-or-treaters at our house, and I was wondering if there is any sort of Halloween etiquette that should be followed by those handing out candy. The only thing I know for sure is to leave the porch light on if you do want trick-or-treaters to come to your door. Is there any of sort of "rules" that should be followed in regards to Halloween?
