Gregory Bayer was born on Friday, February 10th at 3:07 AM. 6 pounds 13 ounces, 19 inches long.
This is probably a P&R since babies are silly and like to eat all the time.
Long story: My water broke unexpectedly at work 2 weeks early. We went to the hospital and enjoyed 9 hours of relaxing since I was only having braxton hicks contractions and I foolishly thought that this whole birth thing would be a piece of cake. After enjoying Project Runway and eating some ice cream things started to progress very quickly. Wow, real contractions are truly terrible. Our nurse was very nice and kept suggesting different ways of dealing with the pain, I think that these methods must all be jokes - there is no alleviating that pain. Thankfully, Gregory was born after only 15 minutes of pushing!
He is a very good eater and sleeper and we are enjoying our time together at home.
