Snarky Brides

AW: Married

Hi everyone,

I got married on Sunday the 8th, and my day was awesome with very little to complain about. It was the most perfect weather possible, which was a relief because my ceremony was outside.
I DIY'ed every little thing for my wedding except the cake and the flowers. I am most proud of my 'ribbon curtain' I got married under, and the 25 hand-painted table numbers, all native Oregon plants. Also, can't forget the escort cards with the little plant, name and number on each one (yes, I know, I'm crazy). Oh and the favors/placecards were little succulents with each persons name on it. We have a huge family, so all of this was quite an undertaking. Any bride on here complaining about doing something DIY for a 40-60 person wedding gets an eyeroll from me, try 250!

(link deleted, if you want it, just PM me)

Any questions about the day are welcome.

  • Thanks everyone, I am blushing!

Married: I am a heel-type girl, but had a bad break in my left foot in February which is still healing. I am so glad I didn't have to compromise with the orthopedic shoes the doc wanted me to wear! I loved those thongs, and they showed off my henna :)
