Anyone still awake?

Entertain me. H and I were just in the car for 10 hours. Gross. We finally got to our hotel in NY and now I'm drinking a juicy box of wine and watching SVU.

Did you do anything fun today? Boring?

I wish we were on vacation. H's grandmother died this past weekend, so we are here for her funeral. We live in Indiana, so it was quite a drive.

Also, our first anniversary is this weekend, and we were going to go out to a really nice restaurant and take a day trip to a local winery. But the money we saved for that, we used for this trip. Sigh. I know it's important to be here, and it's selfish of me to say this, but I was really looking forward to our anniversary fun.

Oh now I remember you posting about his grandmother. I am so sorry the trip is not on happy terms and on your anniversary! I hope everything goes smoothly from here. At least you have some kind of plans for your anniversary.

September/October must not be good months, it seems like many ladies on TK are loosing family members or having health related issues.

Well girl, I think I will try to sleep now. Get some good sleep and order room service in the morning! Goodnight.

Where did you get a Juicy Box of wine???

At a gas station in Ohio. It doesn't actually have a straw, but it looks like a juicy box and tastes delicious.

I'm not sure if you are still here... but I did something similar- we flew out of Japan last night (overnight flight) so spent 9 hours on a plane before coming home this morning and doing very little since. So tired!
