Farm and Fleet Crazies

DH works outside and needs some really durable pants that he can only find at Farm and Fleet.  It is a store that sells everything, but mostly tools. 

We walk in and head towards the men's section and a man stops me and says, "My dear, yur da prettiest gal in the whole damnn store."  I was like, 'Thanks?'

He looks at DH and says, "Ya betta take hur home and give hur a bubble bath and wipe all dem bubbles off her"

We just walked away.  I couldn't even make this up.

We were SO confused!  I couldn't laugh..I couldn't smile...I didn't know what to do.  We traveled a distance to get here and it just shows what happens when you leave the big city.

It is the same thing....the two companies are owned by brothers who were competing against each other! 

Where are you in Wisconsin?  We have a Fleet Farm in my town (Stevens Point, WI) and I've never seen crazies like that.....I wouldn't have been able to keep a straight face and would have laughed my butt off at the guy!

I don't live in Wisconsin. My entire extended family lives there so I spent a lot of my childhood in the state. The one we would go  to was in Marshfield.

I had no idea they were competing brothers. That is beyond hilarious.

There are always crazies in farm stores.

It's Fleet Farm in Marshfield where I used to live and Farm and Fleet in La Crosse where I am from and live now. FI makes fun of me because I'll often say Fleet and Farm or Farm Fleet. Never the right way! LOL.
