I can't get my stupid PMs to work so I'll just ask you here. Is the first name of that professor Tiya? I looked her up. If so, do you think she'd mind if I emailed her and thanked her for the support?

    No, that's not her, but it's pretty weird that there's another prof. in the same department with the same last name.  Can you check PMs and just not send them? I'm going to send you one now.

    No, I can't check or send from home most of the time. I'll keep trying and if not then I'll get it at work tomorrow.

    And that's so weird! The one I looked up teaches American Indian studies. Apparently there are two people with the same name and same subjects!
