Hi Hi!

Re: Hi Hi!

  • I'm here, debating if I should split cleaning between tonight and tomorrow or just do it tomorrow.  So really it will be secret option 3, clean frantically before Scott's plane lands on Friday.
  • I do love your dress KFA!  My dress is all lace too so I am partial to the lace.
  • Kim- I vote tomorrow :) I've started cleaning my house on tuesdays evenings. Its weird but it allows me to not clean over the weekend.

  • I clean at really weird hours.  I guess that's what happens when my H is gone a lot.  I vote tomorrow too.
  • Yeah, I tend to clean at weird times too.  Monday night I was mopping at 2am.

I am also debating having a soda, Roxy.  I don't want to waste any but I don't think I could drink a whole can.  But I have heritage Dr Pepper... hmmm.
  • Mmmm, Dr. Pepper is my weakness.  It is just so good except I only like it out of a can.
  • I am currently cleaning!  I clean one thing/room, take a Knotting break, then go back.  I like to clean during the week, too, so it doesn't pile up for the weekend.
  • I get the cleaning bug the worst in the morning while I'm getting ready for work. Worst time ever. I also get super duper anxious right before I go to bed about the house being clean.

Kim- I wish I had the mini cans right now. Whats heritage Dr P?

MY computer just did some weird thing where it was like the shift key was stuck on. Weirdo.

Yes!  The minicans would solve my problem.  Or Scott being here to drink half.

You know Throwback Pepsi?  That's the premise behind heritage Dr Pepper.

    ETA: Petra wins!
  • My mom is coming over tomorrow for mother-daughter time, so I definitely need to make sure things are clean :).

But I get the cleaning bug at weird times, too.  I especially need the house clean before I can focus on anything for school or my job.  FI sas I'm just procrastinating, but I really can't focus on grading essays if there's a sink full of dishes.  I wish i could be a slob :)
  • Whaa! Does it taste different?

  • I had to eat black cherry yogurt because we have nothing sweet in this house.  Thanks, diet saboteurs :)
  • It does!  At first I didn't like it, then I got used to it and I couldn't tell the difference.  Then I ran out and regular Dr Pepper tasted weird for the first few cans.  THEN the second heritage can design came out and I bought it, and it tasted weird again.  It's a vicious cycle that will likely last all 6 can designs.  :D

<div>Coke and Pepsi sure do. I greatly prefer the sugar sodas over the HFC sodas. They taste cleaner and lighter. To me it's as noticeable as the difference between canned and fountain sodas. </div><div>

    Ugh I know!
  • Do it!  I found mine at Frys and my best friend foreva said she saw some at Walmart.  Both times a new design came out I only saw them there for a week or so though.
  • HI!  I'm KUI, and secretly proud of it.  I have a 4 day weekend now (woo hoo.  Petra, even drunk, I'm like ow ow ow, tibial plateau fracture sucks and it's a bitch to diagnose!  Healing vibes to you!
  • Jackie, so am I!  H is gone so it's me, wine, and TK.
  • Yay us!  KUI, KUI, KUI!  I've just discovered Riesling.  I apologize in advance for the tragedy that will become my posts.
  • Hahah I love KUI-ers :)

Kim- I better hop on it then!
  • Amylydia--where is H?  Mine's in the hot tub.  So I get to Knot for a bit.   It's sad when "knotting" becomes a verb.
  • See all that "soda" talk can't have anything to do with us Canadians.  First of all, it's called "pop" and it's all different here.  I'm still bitter that there's no Chick Fil A here.

  • My H is from Michigan, he calls it pop.  He's out in the field until the 12th.  He's in the Army and is doing a crap load if field time within the next few months.  I'd rather have him out there than deployed so I will deal.
  • Better at home than away I'm sure.  I have sooo much respect for military families.  Wow.  My mom didn't see her dad for 4 years (2nd world war--he was an airline mechanic).  What a sacrifice.

Michigan's so close to us, I bet your H calls it "pop".  We're neighbours.
  • I am from Connecticut and my MIL didn't understand why I wanted to get married overlooking the ocean when Lake Michigan is right there by them.  It really does look like the ocean though but since my family is paying I get my wedding on the ocean.
  • Yes, you're missing out on the Chick-fill-a! I'm missing out on Timmys though
  • Chick-fil-a is amazing.  We do not have any here in El Paso unfortunately :(
