Anyone else have cool weekend plans

So FSIL won 2 tickets to see Train on the today show on Friday.  She asked me to come and she found out today that we get to go to a meet and greet as well!  So everyone look for me on the Today show on Friday morning. 
Anyone else doing anything cool this weekend?

That is awesome!  I am going out to Austin to visit my SIL because my husband is gone until the 12th and shes been wanting me to come out and visit.  I love Austin so I'm excited.

Amy-I always wanted to go to Austin.  I have been many places but never there.
We have to be at NBC studios at 530AM so we are leaving here at 430am.  I am excited anyway!

FI and I are doing a 24 mile hike up to one of the highest mountains in So Cal.  I am super scared I have never gone that far! I probably wont be able to walk on Monday!

Awesome that you won train tickets! FI and got tickets to see lynard skynard for donating blood!

We're entertaining family it's DH's annual Hall of Fame game and induction in game on Sat, and Sun. So while the guys are gone I have to entertain the ladies,and my MIL.

Wow, Train tickets and mountains! I am envious of both. However, Friday at 5pm starts my week long staycation, and I can't freaking wait!!!

Scott is home on Friday and I am SO EXCITED!  The weekend will be spent relaxing (and he will be getting over jetlag I'm sure) but Monday we have an appointment to see our venue (I picked it after he left so he hasn't seen it) and maybe we will go to the museum on Wednesday (free night!)

Lynyrd Skynyrd and Allman Brothers are on my list to see. Actually, I'd like to see Kiss too.

I'm not sure I'd say cool, but we're going to J's aunt's apartment to get her computer desk out/move her furniture around (I get out of this part) and then to his sister's house for a grill out/corn boil. Max will spend the day in his kennel.

Saturday, we'll be cleaning/doing laundry/unpacking his biking and camping stuff. Hooray.

I get to go to Hershey Park on Sunday, but in misery, because I can't go on the coasters, or yet again the last new coaster the Ferinhite. I have yet to go on that one. But because of my back I can no longer enjoy these rides. :sad face:. But it is with my sister and her family (her husband's work picnic is there every year) so I'll just get to be the "bag holder" with my sister since she never rides them either. 
We'll enjoy the lazy river and wave pool most of the day.

Other then the park Sunday, nothing to exciting.

Anyways...I leave for Gulf Shores for a week on Saturday!!!!!!!

SCB- Farenheit came out the summer of 08 and it was a crazy line and I was with impatient ppl then it got shut down due to the storm so I never got to go on it then.
Then Dec. 08 is when my back started hurting really bad and last year I didn't go on but my bro-in-law did and said it's definitely not a good idea since it puts a lot of pressure on the back.

I use to work there so I know for the most part what I should and shouldn't go on even though all the rides say about if you have back problems not to go on. So coasters are a definite no no.

I start a new medication (hopefully tomorrow) so I am hoping maybe it will help ease the pain so I can enjoy a little bit of the day. Even if it is in the wave pool or lazy river.

We have our biggest fundraiser on Saturday and I am taking off tomorrow to help set up.  WooFstock - I am so excited, tons of work but it really allows us to take in dogs that need medical care that would otherwise be euthanized, on top of everything else my group does.
