Montessori Schools?

I went to a Montessori kindergarten and I loved it.  When I started first grade I was already at a 4th grade reading level.

I pulled my daughter out of public school midyear to start a Montessori school in the first grade.  She HATED school, never talked about it, never had homework.  She flourished at Montessori.  The first day she was so excited she kept shoving all her schoolwork in my face the whole drive home.  She couldn't wait for school every day.  She absolutely loved it.  She went there for 3 years until we moved and it was too far away.  I still regret doing that...she was so much happier there.
